After rigging a surveillance camera to watch the hotel, Gus and Harley catch sight of Wallace, the man they think holds the key to solving Phillip’s murder. They quickly don disguises to slip in and find out what room he’s in. However, they’re unaware that Alan has sent Sebastian to New York to permanently silence Wallace. Gus and Harley arrive outside Wallace’s room, just as Sebastian gets to the hotel. Sebastian creates a diversion to get to Wallace and Harley and Gus barely get away without being seen and return to the soap opera stage. Sebastian learns from a hotel clerk that Harley has been spotted in the hotel. When he realizes there is a connection between Harley and Wallace, he vows to discover what it is, and why Alan wants him dead. Meanwhile, Alex hears Alan sending Sebastian after Wallace and panics, thinking that Alan is getting out of control. But, Alan vows to stop anyone in his way and Alex wonders if that includes her. Later, Alex catches Coop and Lizzie as they nearly discover where she stashed the bloody gloves. She gets them out in time but Coop and Lizzie wonder about her odd behavior. Cassie finds Dinah in the barn, beat up and disheveled. Dinah claims Edmund had her kidnapped because she knew his secret but Cassie doesn’t buy it. But, Dinah insists that Edmund will do anything to hold on to Cassie and that includes putting the woman who carries his baby in physical danger. Cassie sees this firsthand when Edmund comes to the barn and lashes out at Dinah for staging this entire thing. When Dinah runs from him, he gives chase and grabs a shovel from Dinah's hand - but it’s then that Cassie emerges from the shadows. No amount of denials is enough for Cassie to believe him and she tells him to leave for good. She then races off to Jeffrey’s and when he finally answers the door, they kiss passionately.
