Based off of a radio show aired on the CBS radio network, Gunsmoke followed the life and adventures of Marshal Matt Dillion (James Arness) and his deputy Chester Goode (Dennis Weaver) in Dodge City during the 1870s, as they strived for justice, truth, and sincerity in their small town.
After airing for 20 years, Gunsmoke became the longest running drama in television history, with two stars, James Arness and Milburn Stone, starring in all 20 seasons, and one star, Amanda Blake, starring for 19 seasons.

James Arness and the rest of the whole cast and crew made this TV show a bomb! For those who haven’t seen the complete episode I would like to share that I tried to purchase the whole DVD set of this show at http://www.dvdbooth.com/Western/GUNSMOKE_COMPLETE_DVD_COLLECTION/ , and thankfully, this seller did a great job. The DVDs I received are of good quality. Additionally, it has all the complete episodes! Now, I can just sit and relax while watching my all-time fave show!
