1 :01x01 - Matt Gets It

A wanted gunman, Dan Grat, heads to Dodge City for refuge, leading Dodge's marshal, Matt Dillon, to track the man down.

2 :01x02 - Hot Spell

Marshal Dillion takes the side of an ex-con, Cope Borden, when he is wrongly accused of stealing a horse and Rance Bradley tries to lynch him for the crime. Cope is able to get his name cleared, but ends up killing Rance's nephew in a fair fight concerning a gambling argument. Now Matt has to once again defend Borden's name, despite the death of Rance's nephew.

3 :01x03 - Word of Honor

Hank Worth, the son of wealthy rancher Jake Worth, is kidnapped and won't be released until the $20,000 ransom is met. The kidnappers are forced to enlist the help of Doc to care for Hank who has been shot in the back. However, when Hank dies from his wound, Doc has to convince the kidnappers to let him go, telling them that he won't turn them in if they let him go unharmed.

4 :01x04 - Home Surgery

On their way back to Dodge, Chester and Matt meet Holly Hawtree, a woman whose father has gangrene and needs his leg to be amputated in order to live. Matt is able to perform the surgery that the man needs, but unfortunately, the gangrene had spread past the leg and killed the man. Later, Matt finds out that the accident that led to the man contracting gangrene wasn't an accident at all.

5 :01x05 - Obie Tater

Obie Tater, a prospector, lands himself in hot water when he refuses to tell Matt where he has hidden his gold.

6 :01x06 - Night Incident

A young child, Timmy Wyatt, sees a string of murders take place, but due to the boy's past history of telling lies no one believes he's telling the truth.

7 :01x07 - Smoking Out the Nolans

Marshal Dillon is caught in a land dispute between Clay Young and Josh Nolan.

8 :01x08 - Kite's Reward

Andy Travis is earning a reputation as a fast gun, and Matt gives him a warning that this reputation will just bring men looking to shoot him down. Joe Kite comes looking for Andy, but since he is unarmed he agrees to a fist fight. While at the saloon, Matt is told that Andy has a $1000 bounty on his head. Joe overhears the conversation and goes after the bounty, knowing Andy is unarmed.

9 :01x09 - The Hunter

Jase Murdock, a buffalo hunter has come to the area for so skins. Matt wants to make sure that he stays away from the forbidden Indian territory. But no one can tell Murdoch what to do.

10 :01x10 - The Queue

Chen vows revenge after a pair of bullies, who were previously victims of a Chinese claim jumper, cut of his queue (pony tail).

11 :01x11 - General Parcley Smith

General Smith, a habitual liar, arrives in Dodge spreading a rumor that the new banker is going to scam the clients out of their money and then run off.

12 :01x12 - Magnus

Christmas Eve finds Chester's brother arriving in Dodge. Magnus is a rough and rugged mountain man who, in Chester's mind, is an embarrassment to the family name. While showing him the sights it's discovered that he is a bit more worldly than Chester had known.

13 :01x13 - Reed Survives

Lucy Hunt rushes to Matt to accuse her husband Ephraim is planning on murdering her. But when Matt has a talk with Ephraim, he convincingly confesses his love for his wife. The plot thickens when Kitty notices a handsome, young farmhand working on the Hunt farm who also has eyes for Lucy.

14 :01x14 - Professor Lute Bone

When an infant nearly dies from an elixir sold by a traveling medicine man, Doc insists that Matt do something or he will. But Matt's hands are tied until an elderly man dies from using the opium-based concoction.

15 :01x15 - No Handcuffs

Matt and Chester go on a manhunt for a disreputable deputy sheriff who comes to town and removes a prisoner from the Dodge jail without Matt's say so.

16 :01x16 - Reward for Matt

Matt is made a wanted man by the widow of a man he was forced to shoot. Men will come from all over to collect the $1000 reward and kill Matt at the same time.

17 :01x17 - Robin Hood

John Henry Jordan is on trial for being a modern day Robin Hood, yet no one will testify against him. Having no evidence, the judge is forced to release Jordan. Matt wants him out of Dodge but has no lawful reason to have removed. The Marshall believes he can have Jordan removed as a vagrant by having a reformed gambler win away all his money. When the card shark is found injured, Matt goes on the hunt for Jordan. he finds him holed up in the home of the Bowen family, witnesses at his trial.

18 :01x18 - Yorky

Yorky, a young white boy who was raised by an Indian father, is shot while stealing a horse. He is taken in by a kind-hearted farmer and nursed back to health. Although Yorky has a tough time adjusting to life in Dodge, he is soon befriended by the gang. But the plot thickens when horse dealer Howard Petrie shows up in town with a herd of steeds with an uncertainty of their true owners.

19 :01x19 - 20-20

Troy Carver is a former lawman who is suffering with failing eyesight. He arrives in Dodge a wanted man by a vengeful farmer who believes Carver is responsible for the death of his brother. Carver, hiding his condition stays close to Matt as to not be a target. But eventually, he will need to face a showdown with Polan.

20 :01x20 - Reunion '78

Jerry Shand faces a hanging after the murder of Andy Culley, a happy-go-lucky hardware salesman. They need a witness to stop the hanging and Kitty believes Belle Archer knows a secret about Andy that involves a murder back when he was a Quantrill raider.

21 :01x21 - Helping Hand

Brett Halsey seeks a hiding place from a group of Texas trail men, hell bent on lynching him. Kitty gives him a place at the Long Branch while Matt heads off the gang. Brett reveals that his father had been abusive towards him after he too was roughed up by a group of Texas trail men and that he was planning revenge by stealing from their herd. But Doc is suspicious that Brett's baby face may be a front for exploiting people.

22 :01x22 - Tap Day for Kitty

An old man, Nip Cullers, comes to Dodge to declare his intentions of marriage to Kitty. She is not in agreement with his idea and threatens to shoot him if he doesn't leave her alone. When Nip is found murdered, Kitty seems to be the one and only likely suspect.

23 :01x23 - Indian Scout

A posse marches through the streets of Dodge City carrying the bodies of 23 slain men who were ambushed by Comanche warriors. Only one scout survived the onslaught, a white man who lived with the tribe. A brother of one of the slain men vows his revenge on the scout, believing he had a part in the slaughter.

24 :01x24 - The Pest Hole

A plague of typhoid has hit Dodge City. Kitty and some of her girls use the jail as a make-shift hospital to help care for the sick. Doc puts himself in charge of discovering the cause of the sickness before the whole town is wiped out.

25 :01x25 - The Big Broad

Big Lena and her little mate Emmett have strolled into Dodge for a game of poker. Lena is a huge woman who is as tough as any man. When Ed James, a buffalo hunter makes a pass at her, he winds up dead. Ed's partner, Nate, wants revenge on the Amazon-like behemoth.

26 :01x26 - Hack Prine

Matt Dillon brings in a murderer, Lee Trimble, having been caught far from Dodge and losing his horse. Matt's old friend, Hack Prine, comes to town for some reminiscing...and as a hired gunman to kill the Marshall.

27 :01x27 - Cooter

Professional gambler Ben Sissle doesn't take kindly to being called a cheater. After Matt calls him so, Ben plans his revenge on the Marshall. He hands a brain-damaged man, named Cooter, a gun and warns him that Dillon wants to challenge him in a gunfight.

28 :01x28 - The Killer

Crago, a cold-blooded killer is in Dodge, much to the dismay of Marshall Dillon. Crago is known for egging on slow gunmen and then killing them in a challenge, but claiming that the shootings were in self defense. Matt must figure out a peaceful way to stop him, or resort to Crago's tactics and take him down in a street fight.

29 :01x29 - Doc's Revenge

Clem Maddow rides into town with two buddies and has Doc unusually upset. Matter of fact he is so upset that he wants to shoot Clem. Matt feels it's for the best if Clem leaves town immediately. Suddenly, shots ring out with Clem and his brother George being hit by gunfire. While operating, Doc reveals that he and Clem were rivals once for a woman's affection.

30 :01x30 - The Preacher

A stage arrives in Dodge carrying a loud braggart named Sam Keeler and a quiet man named Seth Tandy. Keeler is a pugilist who is looking for a fight. His target, mild-mannered Seth. While Matt intervenes, he becomes a stand-in for Seth, leading to an inevitable showdown.

31 :01x31 - How to Die for Nothing

Matt has a run in with a group of trail herders. When one makes a draw on Matt, he winds up shot. His brother now wants to get his revenge.

32 :01x32 - Dutch George

A young man named McQueen asks for Matt's help when his horses are stolen by Dutch George, a famed horse thief and an old friend of Dillon. As Chester and Matt ride along with McQueen, they are left behind by the young man who apparently had this planned all along.

33 :01x33 - Prairie Happy

The citizens of Dodge are in a panic when it's rumored that the Shawnee tribe is planning an attack. But Matt isn't convinced. Too many questions arise such as, why would the Shawnee give advance warning of an attack. It's discovered that Tewksbury, a frontiersman is behind the rumor, but for what reason?

34 :01x34 - Chester's Mail Order Bride

Chester has a problem when his mail order bride is planning to come to Dodge to meet him face-to-face. Feeling he is unattractive, Chester had sent her a picture of Matt instead.

35 :01x35 - The Guitar

A mild-mannered roving guitar player has arrived in Dodge. He is being harassed by a pair of rowdies as a joke. But the joke turns dead serious when they discover he was once a soldier for the Union Army, and is now in danger of being killed.

36 :01x36 - Cara

Matt is weary when an old flame of Matt's comes to Dodge at the same time a notorious bank robber is also on his way and has sent a woman ahead to stake out the situation.

37 :01x37 - Mr. and Mrs. Amber

The Amber's are a married couple trying to make a go on the farmland given to them by her brother. No matter how hard Neil Amber works to prove himself worthy to his brother-in-law, he seems to fail. Sarah Amber reveals that he is just not a farmer. When Sarah disappears, Neil, who is in stunned silence, is believed to be the only suspect.

38 :01x38 - Unmarked Grave

Matt needs to get outlaw Ron Hagerthy out of Dodge and on a train before his gang rides in to free him. Meanwhile, a grieving mother of a slain outlaw attempts to free Hagerthy from Matt's clutches.

39 :01x39 - Alarm at Pleasant Valley

A family plans to move out west since they have had nothing but hardships in Kansas. But there move is hampered by a tribe of Kiowa Indians and the pregnancy of a family member. Matt and Chester happen by at the time and make a suggestion that they give it another try in Kansas, since all homesteaders face the same trials as they had.

40 :02x01 - Cow Doctor

Doc is urgently summoned by a family that lives several miles outside of Dodge only to discover that they want him to treat their sick cow. Meanwhile, back in Dodge, one of his human patients dies.

41 :02x02 - Brush at Elkader

Matt travels to the town of Elkader to bring in a man who shot down his friend only to disover that the town is protecting the villain. To make things even worse, Matt doesn't know what his quarry looks like.

42 :02x03 - Custer

Matt is at a standstill with an Army major. The major wants him to turn over a prisoner to face desertion charges but Matt wants the man to stand trial for cattle rustling.

43 :02x04 - The Round Up

Fresh off a trail drive, a group of drunken cowboys arrives in Dodge. Matt tries to keep them from getting too rowdy.

44 :02x05 - Young Man with a Gun

Matt kills a gunslinger in a fair fight. Then the man's 16 year old brother arrives in town vowing revenge upon the Marshal.

45 :02x06 - Indian White

Mary Cullen brings home a 12 year old boy whom she believes is her son who was stolen away in a Native American raid a decade prior.

46 :02x07 - How to Cure a Friend

A Texas gambler, who's also an old friend of Matt's, arrives in Dodge with the intention of fleecing one of the town's wealthier citizens in a poker game.

47 :02x08 - Legal Revenge

Doc has a strange encounter with a couple when he makes a service call at their home to treat the husband for a wood cutting accident. It seems as though the husband was holding a gun and his wound actually came from being cut with a knife instead of an accident with an axe.

48 :02x09 - The Mistake

Matt and Chester head out after the man they think robbed the man running the faro game at the Long Branch saloon. But their quarry might actually be an innocent man.

49 :02x10 - Greater Love

Doc is taken hostage by two wounded stagecoach robbers who want him to treat their wounds.

50 :02x11 - No Indians

Matt, Chester, and a cavalry captain find a family killed and scalped. Their first instinct is that it's the work of the Pawnee but upon closer inspection, Matt deduces that white men, not Native Americans, did the deed.

51 :02x12 - Spring Term

A man is shot with a bullet that was intended for Matt Dillon. Matt then tries to discover who wants him dead before he can strike again.

52 :02x13 - Poor Pearl

A saloon gal finds herself in the middle of a messy love triangle between two suitors; neither of whom will take no for an answer.

53 :02x14 - Cholera

The dreaded disease cholera has come to Dodge. Will it spread and become an epidemic?

54 :02x15 - Pucket's New Year

Ira Puckett, who was abandoned on the prairie in freezing weather by his guide, manages to make it into Dodge and proceeds to make a major nuisance of himself.

55 :02x16 - The Cover Up

Matt wonders why one man refuses to press charges against another man who took a shot at him.

56 :02x17 - Sins of the Father

Big Dan Daggit and his Native American wife, Rose, cause quite a stir amongst the townspeople when they arrive in town. It seems as though Rose is the daughter of an Arapaho chief who once raided Dodge and several citizens have long memories.

A bank robber who just killed his partner arrives in Dodge with his wife. The couple open up a dress shop and attempt to live a normal life but are followed into town by a Native American whom the robber double crossed.

The brother of a deceased man begins stalking the gunfighter who killed his sibling.

Matt learns that a respected Dodge City citizen has been protecting a wanted man.

After a gunfight in which he is forced to kill three men, Matt begins having nightmares and later turns in his badge because he's sick of killing.

Ann Cabot arrives in Dodge from Connecticut to marry her fiancee, Jack Shomer, but he doesn't want to see her because he's failed at farming and is now an alcoholic.

62 :02x23 - Sweet and Sour

Four men are dead at the Long Branch saloon and the smokin' hot new dance hall gal is the cause.

63 :02x24 - Cain

Rancher Cain Vestal is forced to come to terms with his checkered past.

64 :02x25 - Bureaucrat

A Washington bureaucrat arrives in Dodge City and almost immediately tries to change the way Matt Dillon does things in the town.

65 :02x26 - Last Fling

Two assclowns arrive in Dodge for one "last fling" and make nuisances of themselves with the dance hall gals especially Kitty. Then, when one of them gets shot, he tells Matt that Kitty was the culprit.

66 :02x27 - Chester's Murder

Matt has to prove that deputy Chester is innocent of killing a gambler with whom he had an argument in the Long Branch over a saloon gal.

Matt wonders whether or not a newly arrived photographer had a hand in the death of a man.

Sam Rickers arrives at Matt's office with a dead man in the back of his wagon wanting to know if he can collect a reward. But it appears at first glance that the decedant was not wanted.

Philip Locke is determined to take Laura Simmons away from the Long Branch saloon and home with him. Only Laura doesn't want to go.

Inside the Long Branch, a whiskey drummer tells Matt that he overheard a plot against the Marshal's life.

A gunslinger is forced to kill a drunken man in a saloon when the intoxicated man attempts to draw on him.

78 :02x39 - Jealousy

A jealous husband goes gunning for Matt Dillon after a gossip starts spreading rumors that the Marshal is having an affair with his wife.

79 :03x01 - Crack-Up

Hired gun Nate Springer challenges Dillon to find out who paid for the marshal's assassination.

80 :03x02 - Gun for Chester

Chester comes to believe a man named Asa Ledbetter plans to kill him. Ledbetter claims Chester killed his brother. When Chester gets shot and claims Ledbetter shot him, Matt must sort the mess out.

81 :03x03 - Blood Money

Matt receives a wanted poster for Joe Sharpe, a bank robber. Then he learns that Sharpe left town with Harry Spenser, who also knows about the reward, and means to collect it.

82 :03x04 - Kitty's Outlaw

Kitty invites Matt to dinner at an obscure spot. He and Chester suspect she's helping an outlaw but are shocked when they learn why.

83 :03x05 - Potato Road

Budge Grilk wants Matt to arrest his father for murder, but when Matt gets to the Grilk house, the Grilks capture him, and he learns they plan a bank robbery.

A man named Jesse Pruett comes to Dodge City to kill a man he thinks killed his father. Matt, naturally, can't let that happen.

85 :03x07 - Mavis McCloud

Mavis McCloud comes to Dodge and marries Barney Wales. But unfortunately for both of them, Mavis fled ahead of trouble named Lou Staley, who has come looking for her. Staley plans to kill Wales - and Matt, too, if he interferes.

86 :03x08 - Born to Hang

After two men try to lynch him, Joe Digger wants fatal revenge and Matt has to put a stop to his plans.

87 :03x09 - Romeo

Land baron Jake Pierce becomes infuriated when his daughter falls in love with the son of his enemy Emmett Bowers, and threatens Dodge City over it, forcing Matt to engineer a plan to stop him.

88 :03x10 - Never Pester Chester

Matt sends Chester out to deal with some rowdy cowboys. But they get the best of Chester and take him for a drag behind their horses, leaving him half-dead. Matt then sets out to bring them to justice.

Jim Cobbett comes to town to marry a woman from back east, but a man named Hank Luz tries to derail his plans, accusing him of murder. Matt must discover why.

After a murder on a stagecoach, the driver tells Matt there's a connection between the murderer Nat Pilcher and the station manager Jesse Daggett. But Daggett won't talk, not even when more people die, leaving Matt to figure out what happened on his own.

After fever takes a young couple, Matt brings their orphaned child to Dodge and entrusts it to Ma Smalley until a proper home can be found. Just when Ma Smalley thinks she has found a good family, the Nadlers, Matt discovers something that changes her mind.

Matt and Chester confront a pair of buffalo hunters poaching on Indian land. The hunters overpower them and leave them for the Indians.

Billy and Jed Gunter come to Dodge to rob the bank, and end up taking Kitty hostage. Matt has to bring them to justice without getting her killed.

98 :03x20 - Claustrophobia

Ollie Ridgers' friend convinces him to visit Miss Kitty's saloon in Dodge City. While he's there men kill his livestock, and he tracks them down and kills one of them. How does a man with claustrophobia face a long prison sentence?

Matt arrests a killer who gets help breaking out of jail from an unlikely source.

100 :03x22 - Sunday Supplement

Two writers come to Dodge City in search of a story. When they cannot find one, they decide to make one, causing trouble for Matt.

Hattie Kelly conspires with two men, Rourke and Cutter. They plan to kill her husband and sell the ranch for the profit. Hattie's son follows the men but loses them, then finds Matt and asks for help.

Caught in a blizzard, Matt seeks refuge in a cabin. And that's just the beginning of his problems.

Nat and Polly will soon be married when Polly's brother Henry discovers something about Nat that makes him try to stop the marriage. On the wedding day, someone shoots Nat and folks believe Henry did it. But Matt isn't convinced.

Tom Cassidy, a usually peaceful drunk, threatens to kill a newcomer to Dodge City, and Matt must figure out why to head off a tragedy.

Earl Stafford and his wife visit Dodge with their traveling show, including laughing gas. Cloud Marsh, humiliated by his antics under the influence of the gas, gathers his brothers and beats Stafford badly. But Stafford once had another name and another profession, and that spells trouble for the Marsh brothers.

When a cowboy is murdered, his friends decide to handle justice themselves. Matt can't let that happen, so he forces this issue in a way that makes him very unpopular.

Amy Slatter comes to Dodge City to kill Matt. But does she really want to kill him, or does she want something else? And why is she so angry with the marshal? Matt must find out.

Matt catches Zack Fields robbing the Express Office and shoots him dead but cannot find the loot. Later, a gambler named Leach Fields marries Zack's widow Ada; Matt thinks Leach wants to robbery money and plans to stop him.

Matt nabs wanted stagecoach bandit Jim Cando. Cando orders his henchman Lee Binders to break him out. In the process, Lee nearly hangs Deputy Goode.

115 :03x37 - Carmen

After three cavalry men die during a payroll robbery, fort commander Major Harris gives Matt two days to produce the bandits - or he'll find them his own way, starting with declaring martial law in Dodge City.

Matt and Chester are bringing Jim Nation back to Dodge City to stand trial for murder. But a robber gets the drop on Matt, and he faces the unpleasant prospect of trusting his murder suspect!

Gambler Marcus France falls for Boni Damon, one of Kitty's girls. Unfortunately for France, a rough character named Tiller Evans considers Boni his girl. Matt has to figure out how to keep France alive.

Wild Bill Hickock comes up with a plan to clear Matt Dillon name after he is accused by Tom Samples of killing an innocent man.

Matt believes a young man, Fly Hoyt, is innocent of shooting a man in the back despite having an eye witness who swears that it was Hoyt who pulled the trigger.

120 :04x03 - Gunsmuggler

A Pawnee renegade raid on a farm has Matt wondering who is smuggling rifles to the Indians. But when it's discovered the rifles are outdated and are basically worthless since no one makes bullets for that model anymore, that the Pawnee will reveal get their revenge on whoever sold them the guns.

121 :04x04 - Monopoly
