Spencer invites his mother (who is unaware of his reunion with Ray) to fly in for the holiday and the Dee's Thanksgiving dinner. Ray arrives at the gathering unexpectedly. Spencer's mother constantly argues with Ray and lashes out at Spencer for keeping secrets from her. Phyllis and Ray decide to break up because he still has some lingering feelings for his ex.
