Leaving the giant silo he tries to hide from an oncoming vehicle. A man gets out of the truck and looks for his victim. He sees the man escape into a corn field and chases after him. The injured man leaves the field and runs into a forest. The killer takes a shot with his gun but misses. The victim decides to jump off a cliff toward water rather than face the killer. : Hannibal Lector prepares a meal when Jack Crawford walks in. Jack reaches for a gun but Hannibal throws a knife into his hand. The two wrestle each other until Hannibal is able to knock him away. Jack flips Hannibal over his shoulder and lifts him up in a choke hold. He lets him down when Hannibal passes out. He was only pretending though and shoves a shard of glass into Jack's neck. : The episode opens with Will, walking around in the hospital with an IV bag in tow, but overall looking much better than last week. He visits Georgia, the young woman with Cotard's Syndrome, also at the hospital in an isolation chamber. When Will remarks that doctors are unsure of what caused his spiked fever, she responds that they will just keep running tests and treating him like a science experiment, but will never determine what is wrong with him. Georgia reveals that doctors are setting her up for shock treatment, telling her that it may help recover her lost memories, including those relating to the murders she committed. She states that she doesn't want to remember, and reveals that she dreamt of the murdered doctor and who she presumed was Will killing him. : The episode opens with Hannibal hosting Dr. Frederick Chilton for dinner. The two discuss his psychic driving influence on Dr. Abel Gideon and the role it played in his confession to the Chesapeake Ripper killings. After the Ripper taunted Jack Crawford with his deceased trainee's messages, Gideon came to the realization that Chilton had planted the notion that he was a serial killer and made him believe. Chilton says he wishes he could be as fascinated with the ordinary mind, "sheep" as he calls them, but is far too fascinated in the deeply psychotic. Chilton's reputation is at stake as Gideon is now wise to Chilton's tactics.
