(Agent Crawford and Dr. Bloom have a meeting about reports and how to proceed with their issues.)
Investigator Prurnell: (to Dr. Bloom) A federal examiner is someone who arrives at a battlefield after the battle, and bayonets the wounded. You have wounded Agent Crawford. Who do you think is going to be getting the bayonet?
(Hannibal visits Will at his cell)
Hannibal: Friendship can sometimes involve a breach of individual seperateness.
Will: (Stands from sitting on his cot) You're not my friend. The light from friendship won't reach us for a million years. That's how far from friendship we are.
Hannibal: I imagine, it is easier to believe that I'm responsible for those murders than it is to accept that you are.
Will: It sure is.
(Will slowly walks up to the bars)
Will: What you did to me is in my head and I will find it. I will remember Dr. Lecter. And when I do there will be a reckoning.
Hannibal: I have huge faith in you, Will, I always have.
(Hannibal talks to the lab)
Beverly Katz: You're not a suspect. You're the new Will Graham.
(Hannibal talks to his psychiatrist)
Hannibal: It would seem that Jack Crawford is less suspicious of me than you are.
Dr. Maurier: Jack Crawford doesn't know what you're capable of.
Hannibal: (leaves a moment of silence) Neither do you.
(Chilton complains to Hannibal about Will's refusal to speak to him)
Hannibal: Will was never my patient.
Dr. Chilton: The irony is that he is my patient, but he refuses to speak to me. It makes me feel like I'm fumbling with his head, like a freshman pulling at a panty girdle.
(Agent Crawford and Dr. Blum discuss Will)
Agent Crawford: Convince me that he didn't know what he was doing. (pets Will's dog, Winston) I would really like to be convinced, Alanna.
Dr. Bloom: A psychopath wouldn't be so scared of the truth, Jack.
(Agent Crawford visits Will)
Agent Crawford: I came to remind myself of who you once were. You know, that man who's classroom I walked into months ago.
Will: I remember that man. Memories are all I have.
In the episode Dr. Chilton tells Hannibal that Will "Makes me feel like I'm fumbling at his head, like a freshman with a panty girdle."
In the movie, 'Red Dragon'(2002), Hannibal has a similar quote. This time to Will, "Ah, yes, Dr. Chilton. Gruesome isn't he? Fumbles at your head like a freshman pulling at a panty girdle."
In the episode while Agent Crawford visits Will, Will tells him "Memories are all I have."
In the movie, "Silence of the Lambs"(1991), Hannibal tells Clarice Memory, agent Starling, is what I have instead of a view. Both characters were incarcerated at the time.
