I can't believe they actually cancelled this show

It was the second highest rated of their scripted shows but despite great ratings and 8-9 million viewers a week they still cancelled it because ...... those that watch it are too old.... are you freakkin kidding me that's just about the stupidest reason ever.

8-9million is a good reason to keep a show. Are you sure there aren't any other factors?

Nope the official reason given is that not enough people in the 17-49 age group watch the show aka the people that watch it are too old, so basically NBC only care about 8-9 million viewers and high ratings if it's teenagers watching the show.

Even David E. Kelley who is the creator has commented on how bizarre the reason for cancelling the show was

I just hope another network has the sense to take over the show cos Kathy Bates as well as the rest of the cast really are brilliant.
