The episode begins with, George standing at the altar and then seeing Lemon walk up beside him. It is then shown that Zoe too is walking down the aisle wearing a bride’s dress, much to his amazement. Both the girls then stand on either side of a befuddled George, who seems to be trying to make sense of things. He then sees Lavon walk down the aisle much to his surprise, and shouts to the priest that there has been a mistake. Just then George is woken up from his dream by the phone ringing, much to his relief. It’s Lemon on the line, telling George how lucky she is to be getting married to him. She then instructs George to run certain errands in preparation for the marriage. George immediately proceeds to jot those down on a piece of paper. ..Read the full recap
Zoe: You've been avoiding me ever since I decided to stay in town.
Wade: That's because I hate you.
Zoe: I'm sorry I haven't gotten you a present yet.
George: Zoe, you don't have to give us a gift.
Zoe: I have a year though, right? I will find you the perfect thing.
George: Seriously, don't worry about it 'cause by the end of the summer you'll be back up in New York, a happy surgeon again. This whole Bluebell thing will seem like a strange dream.
Zoe: Uhh, George I thought you knew. I decided to stay.
George: Uhh...stay, as in, for good?
Zoe: Don't worry, I wont make anything difficult for you. I will live my life and you and Lemon will live yours and we will find a way to co-exist.
Lavon: As the mayor I have to tell you that if those swans bite someone the city is liable. You have to get rid of those.
George: This from a man with a pet alligator. The swans, Lavon? Seriously?
Tom: Lavon, we have an emergency.
Lavon: What is it?
Tom: My knee, it's tingling.
Lavon: No...are you sure?
Tom: Of course I'm sure. And what's worse, I just saw Rita Urban's rooster lying down in the barn.
Lavon: Oh, no. No!
Wade: Where are you going, this isn't the way home.
Zoe: It's the back way to Mobile. I thought, you know, we could hang out. Maybe see a rainy day movie. Or bowl! I have never bowled before, but I am willing to try.
Wade: Are you insane? Turn around. Look I know this is your first one of these storms, but we shouldn't be driving in this.
Zoe: Come on, it's just a little rain. Look, Wade, how long are you going to hold a grudge? We live in the same house, we share a kitchen.
Lemon: Remember when we were kids and we would dress up in our mother's wedding gowns and take turns marrying the dog?
AnnaBeth: Yeah, and that dog turned out to be more loyal than my actual husband.
Zoe gets cut on barb wire on her shoulder and Wade has to stitch her up in the barn. Later when Zoe and Wade are kissing, she wraps her legs around him and he shoves her against a wall. She should be in a lot of pain still so soon after getting stitches.
Watchmen: Wade calls Zoe "Doctor Manhattan" while they are driving in the storm.
Doctor Manhattan is a character from the comic book 'Watchmen,' He has god-like powers, including superhuman strength, telekinesis, control over matter at a subatomic level and near total clairvoyance.
