When Zoe is alerted by the Health Department about a flu epidemic heading towards BlueBell, she is forced to put the town on lockdown. Because of the quarantine, Wade is forced to stay at his ex-girlfriends house causing Zoe to become jealous. Lemon's plan for the perfect night with Walt goes awry when she begins to feel under the weather. Meanwhile, George finds himself roped into directing Lavon's tourism commercial about BlueBell's small-town charm, but it seems Lavon, is more preoccupied with his co-star than his commercial.

The episode begins and Lavon is unhappy about the fact that their rival town Fillmore, is trying to eat into Bluebell’s strawberry business. Fillmore has made an appealing commercial to market their strawberries and George suggests to Lavon that Bluebell too make their own commercial. George says he took a filmmaking class in college and can make the commercial himself, in two days. Lavon is happy to hear this. Annabeth on the other hand tells Lemon that she and Walt have been dating for eight weeks and its time they had sex. Lavon: Okay, look people. Think of the quarantine as a giant shark net, and um, the flu is like a hungry great white. Desperate to eat the people of Bluebell. Now, it's out there people.
Wally: But I just bought my ticket to see The Globetrotters in Daphne!
Lemon: Mr. Mayor! Are we, or are we not, in America?
Lavon: Of course we're in America, but --
Lemon: Well then here in America, we have rights. The right to come and go as we please!
AnnaBeth: Yeah! The freedom of...movement?
George: Mr. Mayor, if I may interject. That one is actually not in the Bill of Rights, and --
