Rudy Rossback: Uh, Mr. Paladin...uh, how about hiring you to take care of Miss MacIntosh for me?
Paladin: You want me to shoot Miss MacIntosh?
Rudy Rossback: No! No, no. No. Aren't you the one that's supposed to use his brains sometimes? (Paladin laughs) I'm serious!
Paladin: Rudy, in my profession, a man's gun commands a good deal more respect than his mind does. Handling a gunfighter is one thing, a determined woman like Miss MacIntosh quite another.
Rudy Rossback: Look, if you're worried about the money, you don't have to. I have got over three hundred and forty-seven dollars and sixty-eight cents in here.
Paladin: Over three hundred and forty-seven dollars and sixty-eight cents?
Rudy Rossback: Well, just about three hundred and forty-seven dollars and sixty-eight cents.
