Recap

Paladin and a lady friend stumble into the Carlton after a late night on the town. Hey Boy is dozing on the sofa and wakes up when Paladin comes over. He tells Paladin that he has an urgent message and Paladin is shocked to discover that it's a request for help from Simon Quill, a man who once left Paladin to die. Once Hey Boy realizes that Paladin is going to go despite the danger, he hands over an article that he has saved about Simon. Simon is wanted for the murder of a woman, and Quill's letter tells Paladin to find Lily. The gunfighter goes up to his room to prepare to travel, leaving his date with Hey Boy...

Episode Quotes
Paladin: This Burly, Idaho?
Eph Trager: Well, it ain't Texas.
Paladin: Thank you.

Paladin: Cabell...
Roy Cabell: For a man who might have to kill you, maybe you ought to know my first name. Call me Roy.

Lily Leighton: He's gonna kill Simon.
Paladin: Well, say prayers for all the sad, poor people that Simon swindled out of their money, or charmed out of their lives.

Paladin: All right, Cabell. Just the two of us alone. I'm going to defend myself. Just like I did with your brother. Now you draw if you have to. You might even kill me. I wouldn't blame you. But I will defend myself.
Roy Cabell: Just like with my brother Paul.
Paladin: That's right. Just like with your brother Paul.
