Dave and Vince Teagues are fishing on the dock when they hook their line on a dinghy. They pull it in and discover an aged corpse beneath a tarp. Nathan and Audrey are called in and discover the man is extremely old. When they learn the body was found under the tarp, they figure somebody put it there. Dave and Vince explain that the corpse has aged even since they found it. Dave shows them a sketch he did of the body proving their claim. As Nathan talks to the officer on the scene, Audrey asks them about Lucy, the woman who looks like her. They don't remember a name attached to the photo, but promise to look into it. There's no ID on the body, but there are lobsters in the boat that are least three days' dead. The harbor mistress, Beatrice Mitchell, comes by and shows off her newly adopted baby, Benny. Nathan coos over it and asks to hold it. Beatrice says that the boat was stolen from the Camden harbor. Nathan reluctantly returns Benny to his mother and Audrey notices a tattoo on the corpse. David: Our grandmama could cast farther than you. Much farther.
Vince: Yeah, well, Grandmama was pretty tough, so I'll take that as a compliment.
David: Take it however you like.
Audrey: I don't believe it.
Nathan: It's true.
Audrey: You golf.
Nathan: Indeed I do.
Audrey: You're a golfer?
Nathan: I am. What, you don't have any hobbies?
Audrey: Yeah. Crime scenes.
Nathan: Sounds relaxing.
Audrey: Yeah, well they are to me.
Duke: Don't you be working too hard, Officer Wournos. I heard that being a cop can destroy all evidence of having a personality.
Duke: She only had one thing on her mind, and as a general rule I don't usually turn down beautiful women with an appetite.
Nathan: You went home with her, just like that?
Duke: No, Nathan. First I passed her a note in study hall.
Nathan: We need to get him to the hospital.
Duke: Great idea, Nathan. Which department handles life-draining women?
Nathan: Does Beatrice still on Little Bay Road?
Duke: Contrary to popular belief, I don't know where every woman in Haven lives, Nathan.
Nathan: You okay? Do you need a hand?
Duke: When you're nice to me, it reminds me that I'm dying.
Nathan: Then hurry the hell up, then.
Duke: Thank you.
Duke: Do you really hate me?
Nathan: Hate is a strong word.
Nathan: (to Duke) You're not going to die today. When you die, it's going to be because I killed you myself.
