Duke is on his boat and looking at the gold doubloon his father gave him one birthday. He then looks through his father's journal and turns to the page where his father wrote that Audrey must die. Attached to the page is a newspaper clipping about the death of Roy Crocker, Duke's grandfather. Written on the back are the words "Killed by Sarah Vernon" and Duke realizes that Audrey may have killed his grandfather when she was Sarah. There's an entry in the journal dated August 16, 1955, and the name Stuart Mosley...
Duke: What year is this? Local Man: It's 1955. It's the year you should think about sobering up. Duke: Right. Actually I think it's the year I start drinking.
Duke: I want to thank you for bailing me out. I thought I was going to be in there until The Beatles. Roy Crocker: The who? Duke: Them too.
Nathan: Great. And if he was supposed to die, you've screwed up the natural order of things. Now, even if we get home, it is a completely different Haven. Duke: The Gull could be a frozen yogurt shop and I could be a total douche? Nathan: Or it's a completely different Haven. Duke: That was good.
Audrey: Now, let's find Stuart so he can bring Duke back before he breaks more butterfly wings.
