Michelle's final scene as Cath her call to Steve on what she has to do to bring the boy back to his family.
Steve just comes home from his trip from Afghanistan the phone rings.
Steve: Hello?.... Catherine?
Cath: (calling from an unknown location in Afghanistan) Hey!
Steve: (sigh of relief): Catherine. Where are you? Are you okay?
Cath: Yeah. I'm fine. I'm fine. Hasan's men were searching the area. And I had to lay low until they were gone.
Steve: What about the kids?
Cath: They're safe. They're safe.
Steve: Was Najib with them?
Cath: (pauses) No. No, but I've got a lead on where he might be. I think I mightive taken him across the border.
Steve: (pauses and realises what's going on) You're gonna go after him aren't you?
Cath: (starts to tear up) Yeah. Yeah, I am. I have to. And, and I can't come back until I've find him...
Steve: Okay, well, that's fine. (starts to panic and starts to tear up) That's fine I'm gonna come back alright? I'm gonna come back. We can do this together. I'll help you find him.
Cath: Steve. No.
Cath: No, listen to me. You've helped me enough. Okay, it's better for me to do this alone. I can keep a low profile that way. It's just easier... You know I'm right... (Steve takes the phone away from his ear and starts to tear up more and in disbelief) You understand why I need to do this... (starts to tear up more) don't you?
Steve: (sniffs) Yeah, of course I do... You just... promise me...
Cath: (starts to really tear up more) I promise you, I'd be careful. I'll be careful, okay.
Steve: ...I love you, you know?
Cath: (takes the phone away from her ear and pauses with a smile) I love you, too.
Steve: Alright. Good luck Cath.
Cath: Thanks... Aloha.
Cath hangs up the phone walks to her motorcycle with Steve at his home in Honolulu sitting in his chair gazing away out the window to the beach as Cath rides away in the Afghanistan looking for Hassan and the little boy.
