Episode Summary

Dr. Jonas prepares to perform the first uterine transplant, but first must get Dr. Grant's approval. However, Dr. Grant has other things on his mind as he races to save a six-month old baby with a rare heart defect and is reluctant to give Dr. Jonas the go-ahead on the risky transplant. Meanwhile, Dr. Grant has an opportunity for a uterine donor, but Kate has to get through to the grieving mother in order for her to consent to the donation.
