Recap

The scene opens with the cheerleaders practicing. The volleyball team come in and starts to give them a hard time and one of the players throws a ball to Alice, who is at the top of the pyramid. She falls down and asks who threw it. Coach Lodge threatens to file a grievance and the volleyball player tells that it was an accident. The two argue and the volleyball player tells that cheerleaders are only the football players’ groupies. Alice tells that they can jump higher, run faster and do everything else better then them. They agree on a flag football match to which Alice asks for Savannah’s approval. At the bar, Marti tells Wanda that Savannah got them in a flag football match with the volleyball players and if they lose, they are going to have to cheer for the other team, but in their underwear. Savannah is horrified when Wanda tells them that cheerleaders are “special dancers” and not athletes. ..
