<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The scene opens with the “Hellcats” having fun dancing around and setting up for the spirit party. Savannah asks Alice why she is dressed up and Alice tells that she has to go to a photo shoot and then rubs it in Savannah’s face that she is going to have sex. At the photo shoot, Jake and the rest of the team have all smiles for the camera. Jake introduces Alice to Kelsie, the reporter. Alice starts talking about how she is a cheerleader and how Lancer doesn’t care about them. Kelsie gets interested and proceeds to dig further. However, she is pulled away from Bill Marsh and asked to speak in private. In the hall, he tells Alice to keep quite and tells that she will or else he will rain hell on her. She agrees and then gets upset that Jake didn’t stick up for her. Back at the dorm, Lewis asks to bunk with Marti because of the fact that Darwin hooked up again and Marty says that she has to clear it with Marty. Turns out, Dan is going to be sleeping on the floor so it is fine. They get inside the room and Dan takes his place on the floor, but Lewis takes his place next to Marti in bed. Savannah gets nervous and tells that she will sleep on the couch and Dan can have the bed.

The next morning, Dan talks to Marti about him and Savannah and wants to know what her issue is. He tells that it is not about the sex, it is the way she obsesses over the virginity. Marti tells that Savannah is good people and that he needs to be kind. Marti goes to the State Prison and tells that her and Morgan are getting closer to getting Travis out of prison and tells about how they found Jane Lomis’s new home. He is shocked that she is living in a nice place like she is and Marti tells that the owner is Bobby Overton. Marti and Morgan go to visit him and he tells that he gave Jane the home for the fact that he wanted to get her on her feet again. He gives Morgan two tickets to U2 and tells them to forget about Jane Lomis and tells that she has gone through a lot. Jake and Alice are talking about the night and she tells that she didn’t like to be talked to like she did and tells that Jake should have stood up for her. He tells that Bill Marsh is someone who he hates but he tells that they have to play nice. Jake tells that Alice needs to be supportive and calls her a football wife. He tells that the piece is only a “puff” piece to show that Lancer football players clean up nice. He jokes and says that she needs to be supportive or she’s fired. He tells Alice that he is only joking.

Savannah tells Marti it is the Big Night where she is going to give up her virginity and Marti tells her to be spontaneous after hearing that Savannah has every detail mapped out. She asks Marti how her first time was and Marti tells that it was in the back of a Buick. Marti tells Savannah that if she makes it a big thing, she is going to scare away Dan. She tells that she can do this. Savannah tells that it has to be perfect. Marti tells that she is putting too much of it on herself. Marti admits that Dan and her talked about him and Savannah and Savannah thinks that Marti has feelings still. Marti gets the team into the Theater Department costume room and for payment; she gives the Drama student a “Hellcats” uniform. Marti tells that she is sorry to Savannah for telling her that she shouldn’t have sex with Dan. The team has a montage of trying on costumes.

The party kicks off and Alice and Jake are dancing when Kelsie comes in. Alice tells that Jake that Kelsie is her second and Jake gets told that he is just her cheerleader husband. She tells Kelsie’s photographer that the balcony is the best for pictures. They kick off the dancing and Coach Lodge sings “We got the Beat”. When they slow things down, Dan and Marti do their special dance and Wanda sees that there is a connection. Meanwhile, Alice talks to Kelsie and she tells that her editor wants to spike the football piece and that she wants to do a piece on cheerleading. Alice is happy to hear that and gets Kelsie some more champagne. At the bar, Jake tells that Bill Marsh wanted the piece in the paper and that now it is going to be replaced by the “Hellcats”. Alice tells that she can’t help that. Jake tells that they are supposed to be a team and Alice reminds him that he didn’t stick up for her when Bill yelled at her. Morgan runs in and tells Marti that his laptop was stolen. She plays it off like it is nothing and that theft happens all the time. He tells that it is a warning from Overton. Marti and Morgan go to her room and they find that her laptop is fine.

Dan and Wanda talk and Wanda tells that he and Marti are soul mates and that Marti used to write in her diary all the time about him. Wanda tells that Marti still loves him and he is shocked. He tells that he is with Savannah and Wanda tells to give it 10 years and it is going to happen. He takes Marti aside and asks if she still has feelings for him. She pauses and tells that maybe she does, but he is with Savannah now and that is where he should be. Alice talks to Dan and asks if he has seen Savannah and he asks if she has ever regretted something. Alice tells that she never regrets anything and has a new opportunity to do something. Lewis and Marti get to her room and Marti is still shocked about what Dan said to her and she finds out that her laptop has been taken. Suddenly a figure comes out of the closet with Marti’s laptop. Savannah and Dan arrive at a hotel and she tells that she doesn’t want to be a virgin anymore and he tells that there is nothing weird about her. She kisses Dan and tells that her first has to be the right person. Dan goes to the bathroom and Savannah asks about Dan’s first time and he tells that his first time was in the back of a Buick and Savannah finds out that Dan’s first time was with Marti. Dan walks out and Savannah is gone.
