The scene opens with the “Hellcats” training for an event and the new Sports Director, Dean Laverne, is watching them practice. Dan and Marti watch from the sidelines talking about how the new Dean Laverne is biting his lip. Afterward, he tells that they have “tasty” moves and it is going to be great for the Gala. He tells that their image is hurt right now because of Jake going to prison and that they need to advance and make their image good again. Dean Laverne talks to Vanessa and asks if there is anything going on with her and Red Raymond. She tells that they are just friends. Dean Laverne asks how Red’s divorce went with Emily Townsend. She tells that it went alright and asks why he is asking these questions and he tells that it is nothing and comments on the tea that she gives him to ignore the question...
