With Elizabeth out of the competition, Jennifer, Elise, Will, Paul, and Tommy have their black jackets and Chef Ramsay says that they are one team now. They go to celebrate with champagne and agree that the drama ends. The next morning, the chefs come out and meet with Ramsay. They are going to have to transform ugly dishes into something beautiful and delicious. They get 50 minutes and they move around the kitchen to cook their dishes to show that they are worthy of the black jacket. They push it to get their dishes ready to present to Ramsay. He decides to bring in Lesley Bargar Suter from L.A. Magazine, Cookbook author Susie Heller, Food stylist Valerie Aikman-Smith, Food photographer Deborah Jones and Eric Greenspan from Melrose.

Tommy comes up first with his Chicken and Dumplings. Presentation is amazing and gets 44/50 points. However, taste isn’t as good and gets 30/50 points for a total of 74 points. Paul comes up and gets 33/50 points for presentation and 27/50 points for taste with a total of 60 points. Jennifer comes up and gets 28/50 points for presentation and 24/50 for taste with a total of 52 points. Elise comes up and gets 42/50 points for presentation and 44/50 points for taste with a total of 86 points. Last up is Will. He comes up and gets 38/50 points for presentation and beats Elise by 1 point with 49/50 points for taste with a total of 87 points. Will wins the challenge and Ramsay tells that he can pick one other person to go with him and he does the honorable thing and chooses Elise because she came in second. Ramsay tells that they’re going to be able to ride in a Roles Royce Phantom to take them to get a fancy meal from Top Chefs.
Wolfgang Puck meets Will and Elise for their lunch and Chef Lee Hefter comes out and gives them their lunch. Meanwhile, Tommy, Jennifer and Paul wash laundry by hand. Tommy has fun with it and tries to entertain. Meanwhile, Chef Eric Greenspan cooks Will and Elise their next course. Will tells that he wants to drama to end. She agrees and says that she is all business now and that they are going to work great as a team. Later that night at 9:05 PM Ramsay calls and tells the chefs to come to the dinning hall. He brings out Ben from 5th Season, Tennille from 6th Season, Trev from 8th season, Jillian from 8th Season and Van from 6th season. Each team is going to cook their own design menu. The vets get their menu with no problem at all. However, Elise tries to take lead and upsets everyone on the team. Will loses it and leaves the room. After arguing, the team settles on what Elise came up with.
The next day, they get in to prep for their dinner service and Elise is determined to make sure that everything is going to go good. The Black Team are getting down to business while the Black and White Team get working together to prep and Paul tells that Elise better hope that this dinner service goes well or she is gone. Hell’s Kitchen opens and the newly formed Black Team of vets are on the Red side. They are on fire. On the Black and White Team are in the Blue Kitchen. On the Red Kitchen, Trev says that he is calm now, but it is clear that he is not changed at all. Jillian tells him to slow down, but Trev jumps ahead of himself. The Black and White Team tries to get together and Elise keeps questioning herself on her meat 3 times and asks Paul. Of course, she takes the credit when Ramsay says that it is good. In the Red Kitchen, Tennille messes up the tuna twice and then gets going. Paul is messing up on the lobster and Elise bosses him around and tries to take over. Ramsay is getting tired of it.
The Chefs get into an hour and a half into dinner service and Elise tries to throw Paul under the bus. However, he doesn’t pay attention. Van on the Red Kitchen messes up and then corrects himself. With three tickets each left on both kitchens, the Black team go at it and have good communication. The Black and White Team mess up on the garnish, but with Will’s help, they get it out. It is a tight race and the teams show that they have the best skills. Both teams finish strong. After the service, Ramsay says that on one Kitchen, 80% of the diners said that they would return. On the other, 96% of the diners said that they would return. The winning team is the Black and White Team with 96% of satisfied diners and Ramsey says that he doesn’t like to tell them this, but they have to pick 2 to go up for elimination.

The chefs go to the room and Tommy tells that he votes Jennifer and Paul. Will says that it has to be Jennifer and Elise. The reason for that is because of the fact that she is a nuisance. Paul agrees and says that she asked about her steak three times. Elise denies it, but it is true that she did. Jennifer takes Paul to the side and says that she has had a crush on him from the beginning. He brushes it off and tells that he likes her too and gives her a friendly hug. The chefs come out and Ramsay asks Elise who are their choices. Elise says that Jennifer because she had food come back. The second is her because she is overly abrasive. Jennifer and Elise step forward and the person leaving Hell’s Kitchen is NOBODY! Relieved, the Chefs go back to their rooms.
