The Hellsing Organziation is called in the small town of Cheddar, where the dead are coming back to life. A small group of police officers, one being a young women by the name of Seras Victoria, finds her way to a secluded church where the source of evil is emanating from. Alucard, a powerful Vampire, follows in the shadows.

| In the manga Seras' outfit is a tan color, when in the anime, it is blue.
| The common Vampire Myth that virgins turn in to Vampires when bitten by one holds true in Hellsing. Seras does not turn in to a Ghoul, but rather a Vampire when Alucard bites her.
| On Alucards gun, the 454 Casull, the words "Clockwork Giant Pandas" can be read.

| Alucard: (aiming at the vampire who is using Seras as a human shield) Police girl, I’m going to fire my gun now, and the bullet will rip through your lungs before it hits the maggot vampire’s heart. I know you don’t want to die tonight, do you want to come with me?
| Alucard: What a lovely night. It makes me want to have a bite to drink.
| Vampire Priest: Wait, stop! Both of us are vampires!
Alucard: You act more like a cockroach than a proper vampire. Left to your own devices, you would cover the world in your filth. I can’t stand your kind, you don’t have the self-respect to be a vampire, you undead maggot. You barely even know what you are.
