Help Me Help You

Help Me Help You focuses on Dr. Bill Hoffman and five people he treats in group therapy: Dave, who recently attempted suicide, Jonathan, who is in denial about his sexuality, Inger, who lacks basic social skills, Darlene, who has many issues, not least of which is a preoccupation with Dr. Hoffman, and Michael, who has been mandated by law into therapy for anger issues. But despite being a well-respected clinician who has written several psychotherapy books, Bill has some issues of his own, including dealing with the recent end of his 25-year marriage to Anne. Bill's clients take his advice in trying to improve their lives, while Bill tries to do the same for his own life.
