  Episode Quotes
Mohinder: (opening voiceover) When a change comes, some species feel the urge to migrate. They call it "zugunruhe," a pull of the soul to a far off place following a scent in the wind, a star in the sky. The ancient message comes, calling the kindred to take flight and gather together. Only then can they hope to survive the cruel season to come.

Future Hiro: You told me many times how lost you felt before it all started. This is what you've been waiting for. Be the one we need.
Peter: Wait...
Future Hiro: Save the cheerleader, save the world!

Brody: (looks towards Claire) Crazy bitch!

Niki: What did you do to me?
Hotel Manager: As I saw it, a lot of things were done to you. However, none of them by me.

Peter: He said something bad was gonna happen but we can stop it. But first we have to... save a cheerleader.
Mohinder: A cheerleader?!
Peter: Look, it seems impossible, I know...
Mohinder: Impossible? It sounds mad!

Peter: I promise you that I will drive you to the airport myself. You can go back to India and you'll never have to hear from me again.
Mohinder: Will you fly me there yourself?

Ando Masahashi: You bastards! You don't know who you messing with!
Hiro: (in Japanese) I don't think they can hear you.
Ando Masahashi: (in Japanese) Well it makes me feel better!

Hiro: Do you think they have waffles?
Ando: I said I'm not talking to you. I can't believe I got beat up because of you. I've never gotten beaten up before.
Hiro: I got punched, too.
Ando: Once. They kept kicking me! My jaw is clicking, did it used to click?

Ando: This is all your fault, Hiro. All you had to do was stop time, and we would still have our money.
Hiro: My fault? We got beat up because you made us cheat at gambling. Using my powers for personal gain. That's the Dark Side.
Ando: Not being broke is the Dark Side?
Hiro: Oh, waffles!
Ando: I don't know why I'm on this stupid trip.
Hiro: I've told you now a hundred times. To save the world.
Ando: "Save the world! Save the world!" Don't you ever think of anything else?

Nathan: (walks into the diner with only his pajamas on) All right, I get it. A guy in his pajamas, ha ha. Now, we can all stare and have a good laugh or one of you can lend me your cellphone.

Hiro: Hiro. Hiro Nakamura.
Nathan: Oh, Nathan Petrelli.
Hiro: Petrelli! Nathan! Very nice to meet you...
Nathan: And you.
Hiro: (whispers) ...Flying Man!

Nathan: I don't know what you're talking about.
Hiro: Oh, it's okay... I keep secret! I bend time and space! Teleporter into future! We are both special!
Nathan: Alrighty then!
Hiro: Oh, I got to New York. I see future. Um, big bomb goes there but for many people... (gestures and makes bomb noises)
Nathan: I can see why that might be a problem.
Hiro: Don't worry, I stop it. I'm a hero!
Nathan: Lucky us!

Niki: Look, all I know is that when I met you, I was trying to be someone I'm not and that's not who I wanna be.
Nathan: Who do you want to be?
Niki: Someone good... a good mother... not the person that I see in the mirror.
Nathan: Look, I don't know how much of last night was an act and how much was you. The girl I met, that's the kinda girl you spend your entire life waiting to meet. Somebody strong, somebody beautiful, somebody... good.

Mr. Bennet: You tried to rape my daughter.
Brody: I didn't touch her!
Mr. Bennet: Well, it's her word against yours and from my perspective, she's the more reliable witness.
Brody: Then you don't know your daughter.
Mr. Bennet: I know her better than even she does.

Mr. Bennet: (to the mysterious man) Hollow him out. Take everything.

Nathan: Two million dollars makes me a candidate in your pocket. Four million makes me a congressman.

Niki: What did you think was gonna happen?
Ando: I'm sorry. We chat so much online, I thought... I thought you maybe help me.
Niki: You got the wrong girl. That person that you see on the internet, that's not me. You get the difference, right?

Isaac: (after Peter finishes the painting) How'd you do that?
Peter: I don't know.
Isaac: We have to save her. (the phone rings) Ignore it. It's a wrong number, some Japanese guy keeps calling leaving messages.

Peter: Who is this?
Hiro: Uhh, my name is Hiro Nakamura.
Peter: My name's Peter Petrelli. I have a message for you.

  Episode Goofs
During the first time that time is stopped, a briefcase is frozen as it falls. When time resumes, the objects fall out of the briefcase, yet when the man starts picking up the items they are no where to be seen.

When Hiro and Ando are thrown in the van, the white suitcase that is thrown in with them changes from white to yellow.

  Cultural References
Hiro: Using my powers for personal gain. That's the Dark Side.

In Star Wars, "the Force" is described as "an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together." Those trained in manipulating the Force can move objects, see the future or perform other superhuman feats. When using the Force for good, one is using the Light Side of the Force. When Force manipulation is self-serving or used out of anger or hatred, one is said to be using the Dark Side of the Force. Hiro's use of his powers for personal gain would be aligned with using the Dark Side of the Force.

Hiro: Up, up and away!

When parting ways from Nathan, Hiro says this phrase, popularized by Superman many years ago whenever he'd take to the skies.

Mohinder: (opening voiceover) They call it "zugunruhe," a pull of the soul to a far off place following a scent in the wind, a star in the sky.

"Zugunruhe" is German for "migration" and "restlessness."

  Episode References
The final line of the episode, "I have a message for you," is the same line that "Collision" ended with.

When Nathan asks Hiro if he'll win the election, Hiro replies that he will. Hiro knows this from his visit to the future in "Don't Look Back".

  Analysis
Abilities Development
Matt Parkman: Matt's power to read thoughts overwhelms him at times when there are several people around him feeling strong emotions. While in the grocery store, Matt collapses when he hears too many thoughts at once.
Nathan Petrelli: Nathan has supersonic speed when he flies.
Peter Petrelli: Peter is able to absorb Isaac's power and paints a picture of the future.

Hiros

The episode's title refers to the existence of two Hiros in this episode, one from the future, the other from the present. It is also a play on words with the name of the show, Heroes.
