Discuss "Four Months Ago":

Quote:
The series flashes back to the events of the four months between the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2, as Mr. Bennet moves his family to California, Alejandra and Maya begin their journey to the U.S., and Peter and Nathan's final fate is revealed.

I really liked this episode. It's kind of fun trying to decide who's bad and who's good. I can't quite decide if Adam is really trying to save the world or if he might have been the one that killed Hiro's father and tried to kill Mrs. Petrelli. My opinion seems to change after every episode.

I liked that the Haitian came to the rescue. After working for The Company for so long, it was surprising that he'd deceive them and help Peter.

I didn't really like D.L.'s storyline, though. It seemed pointless to me to bring him back, turn him into this great guy who's actually using his powers for really good reasons, and then kill him in some senseless act. I was also hoping for some more background on what happened to Sylar. Did The Company have him? Or was he a part of something else? Maybe it'll all be a part of something bigger...

No way Adam is a bad guy -and- has been locked up for any length of time.

Either he's a good guy who's powers are limited or he's a bad guy who allowed himself to be locked up to 'recruit' others captured to his side I suppose the only one worthwhile, to Adam, is Peter or he'd have broken out with a 'recruit' before.

Didn't the Haitian already "violate" several company rules previous to that? I thought he was working for the company as long as it didn't violate his ethics and the plan that Mrs. Petrelli worked up?

Yeah, DL and Nikki, I'm done with that. Don't really like the Mexican bro and sis story either.

I'm still wondering if flyboy is really just a kid who can fly or if he's behind some conspiracy.

Lastly, time travel... if the Irish chick was left in the future and the timeline changes before Peter returns her, does she just pop out of existence?

Yeah, I agree. It would've made sense if the writers had just let him die in Kirby Plaza, like everyone was thinking. I really wanted to see more on Sylar.

Maya and Alejandro's story was kind of interesting. It wasn't that important, but at least we got to see just how powerful she is.

I guess Hiro's going to go back and try to save his dad (as seen in the preview for next week). That was predictable.

Also, not that it matters, but I think this was the first episode without Claire or Hiro in it.

I thought it was a good episode. I'm wondering if Adam is a good guy or a bad guy as well.

One thing that I'm curious and annoyed about is how Maya was able to tell that Alejandro's wife was a dirt bag right off the bat and yet she thinks Sylar is such an angel.

I wonder what Hiro is going to do when he finds out that Adam is Kensei. That should be interesting to see (I hope).

I didn't even see sylar at all. Must have missed that part. How'd he escape? Crawl down the sewer?

I don't think they showed how Sylar escaped. I wouldn't be surprised if he went down the sewer.

i think its time to talk about what angela patrelli's power is. is it like that girl from season 1 that can make people do things like lie? and wat was up with her touching nathan's wife?

so happy to see the episode with a lot of elle in it, hope she stays as a regular

That's what I was thinking. Some sort of mind control thing. She doesn't seem to have any physical power (that we've seen at least), and since the scene seemed to really focus on her touching Nathan's wife's arm it must be important. That and I highly doubt she doesn't have a power.

Now that y'all mention it, that does make sense. When she was speaking with Nathan's wife, she was staring at her weirdly and then said I think it's best you go home. I'm not really sure what she said exactly, but it was something of that sort.. Anyway, Nathan's wife just said "ok" and left. She didn't try to argue or anything. It can also be argued that that's what she did with Matt.. She knew Matt was reading her mind, and then she told him to "GET OUT OF MY MIND". I don't recall Matt attempting to read her mind anymore..
