At the Angry Skunk Bar, Knox tells Ando to kill Hiro. Hiro agrees, concentrates, and teleports away to a shop to get a fake sword and blood. He then teleports back to the Angry Skunk bar two hours earlier, gives Ando the blood to put underneath his shirt and says to trust him, then teleports back to the present. There Hiro “stabs” Ando and kills him. Knox, says he’s in and leaves, and Daphne confronts Hiro, insisting she’s not a killer. She can’t understand how Hiro could have been a killer. She sends him to Africa to capture Usutu and bring him to Pinehearst. Once Daphne speeds away, Ando gets up and figures they’re even, and Hiro teleports away with him...

Episode Notes
Cristina Rose (Angela Petrelli) and Dania Ramirez (Maya Herrera) both appear in the episode, but their characters are comatose/unconscious and have no dialogue.

Although Arthur's doctor is unnamed up to this point, writer Chuck Kim identifies him in the commentaries as Dr. Livitz, who had previously appeared in the graphic novel "Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, Part 1."

Episode Quotes
Mohinder: (opening voiceover) In every journey the traveller must ask was the right path taken? Many roads are long and winding, filled with those who have lost their way. Some forge their own course, guided by faith, seeking not a location, but a kindred soul. Others step together, finding safety in the arms of another. A few remove themselves from the trail to avoid the path of temptation, but those who watch the track too closely fail to see where it lead them, they are often all too surprised by their destination.

Hiro: Now you know what it's like to be killed by your best friend.
Ando: Okay, now we're even.

Matt: High five, turtle.

Abilities Development
Arthur Petrelli: Arthur has the ability to permanently drain special powers from another individual via physical contact, gaining almost immediate control over them. Arthur absorbs Peter's ability of lightning and telekinesis and Adam Monroe's power of rapid cell regeneration.
Daphne Millbrook: Daphne can transport at least one person along with her.
