Heroes: A Clear and Present Danger

Months after explosions brought down Pinehurst and Primatech, our Heroes try to put the past behind them and begin new lives. Now powerless, Hiro tries to train a reluctant Ando to be a true superhero. Suresh returns to life as a taxi driver, Peter is back to saving lives, and Daphne and Matt try to live as a normal couple. Claire's attempt to live a regular life is cut short when she uncovers a deadly plot orchestrated by Nathan to track down and capture those with abilities. Meanwhile, Sylar begins the search for his real parents.

Tracy is at home and takes a call from the governor. He tells her to switch on the TV, which features an interview with Nathan Petrelli, now the chairman of Homeland Security. Tracy assures the governor she doesn’t know anything about what he’s doing, and she hasn’t spoken to Nathan in two months. On TV, Nathan talks about protecting the American people from a serious threat. As Tracy dresses, she notices the bathroom window is open. She closes and locks it, then turns to see a man in a commando outfit. She grabs his arm and tries to freeze him but he’s insulated. She runs into the living room where other men are armed. She refuses to beg and demands to know what they want, and one of them shoots her with a tranquilizer dart, then has the other men cover his hands. The leader calls to tell Nathan Petrelli they have the first one...

Matt Parkman: Matt gains the ability to enter into a trance and sketch visions of the future.
Peter Petrelli: Peter can "borrow" someone else's power by touching him. He can only mimic one person's power at a time: he loses the previous "borrowed" power when he gains a new one.
