Danko is shaving in his bathroom at home when he hears the security alarm from his front door. He checks it out but doesn't find anyone. After closing the door, he checks his apartment and finds Eric Doyle hanging from a wall, unconscious with a red ribbon on his chest. There's also a note, saying that Doyle is a gift to Danko.
Angela is in her car in the streets of New York City when Bennet gets in. She tells him this will be their last conversation and wonders if he's distracted. Bennet tries to reassure her she's doing what's best for her sons, but Angela notes that Peter will never forgive her for what she's done. She tells Bennet that with Nathan on the run, it all comes down to him, and suggests he set up someone for capture so he can win Danko's trust. Angela suggests Rebel, but Bennet wonders if she'll need the underground leader herself. Angela says that she plans on leaving the city and has her own resources. As he leaves, Bennet warns her not to go home.
At Building 26, Danko asks Mohinder to come in and see the specials, all strapped to tables with drug feeds keeping them unconscious. Danko leads Mohinder over to Daphne and warns that she's not doing well. Mohinder wants to speak to Nathan but Danko tells him that Nathan has flown away. When Mohinder asks for medical equipment to treat Daphne, Danko admits he said Mohinder could treat her just to get him to come quietly. Danko's men taser Mohinder unconscious and put him in one of the beds. Danko tells his men to also prepare a bed for Tracy.
Tracy is still in a chamber rigged with heat lamps. However, she manages to generate a bit of cold.
Danko shows Bennet the beds of sedated specials and directs him toward Doyle. Danko offers Bennet Doyle as a gift, since he's the one who threatened his family. Bennet thanks him and then suggests that they release Tracy. He figures that she'll lead them to Rebel. If she fails, Bennet will shoot her himself. Danko agrees.
In Los Angeles, Hiro and Ando try to communicate to baby Matt. Finally they figure out the baby is Matt Jr., the son of their friend Matt. The baby turns on the TV and Hiro angrily unplugs it. However, the baby simply touches the TV and turns it back on again, even though it's still unplugged. Hiro figures Danko's men will come for the baby.
Angela is caught in traffic when she gets a precognitive flash of government agents capturing her. When they come for her a few seconds later, she escapes just in time and blends in with the crowds.
Bennet is telling Danko about Angela's escape when the power goes out. The cell door to Tracy's room opens as the heat lamps go out. Tracy freezes her restraints and then goes outside. When the security cameras start moving at her, she realizes that Rebel is responsible. She goes to the sedation chamber and frees Matt and Mohinder. Matt insists on taking Daphne with them but Tracy goes off on her own. She gets to a door but soldiers burst in and prepare to shoot her. Matt and Mohinder arrive and Matt uses his abilities to redirect the guards down the corridor.
An angry Danko tells Bennet that they need to dispose of Rebel once and for all, and to eliminate Tracy as well.
Tracy has left the others and is preparing to steal clothes from a boutique.
Tracy has gone off on her own and is preparing to steal clothing from a boutique. Bennet has already found her and tells her she would have been better off staying with Matt and Mohinder. He reveals his gun but says that he doesn’t want to gamble on shooting her before she can freeze him. He tells Tracy that it's clear that Rebel freed her for a reason, and he wants her to cooperate. If she does, she can go free. If she doesn't, she'll be killed.
Matt and Mohinder take Daphne to a nearby ER and claim Daphne was hurt in a hunting accident. Matt uses his ability to convince the ER doctor to not report the gunshot wound.
As Hiro and Ando pack, Matt Jr. activates his toys, which run on their own. Ando wonders why Hiro is acting so harshly toward the baby and thinks he has family issues. Hiro explains that when he went back in time, he was there at the moment when his mother died. When they hear someone enter the house, they hide in the closet but the newcomer easily finds them: it's Matt's ex-wife Janice.
On the streets, Tracy walks by an ATM machine but hears it say her name. She checks it out and it spits out money and instructions to go to Union Station. She hails a taxi and leaves, while someone watches her from the crowd: Micah Sanders.
Angela tracks down an old friend, Millie, and asks for her help. Millie is unhappy that Angela has roped her into trouble, as the government has been interrogating her about their association. Millie suggests that Angela turns herself in. Angela gets up to go but Millie gives her what money she has.
Hiro and Ando explain to Janice that Matt Jr. is in danger. Janice knows about her son's powers, but believes Matt is a terrorist due to the newscasts. Ando demonstrates his power and explains that he's not a terrorist, and someone used the bomb incident to make them look bad. Two government agents knock on the door and Janice goes to greet them. They want to take Janice and Matt Jr. in for questioning. Janice says the baby is at the babysitter and offers to take them. However, as soon as she's out of the house, the agents hustle her away and soldiers break into the house. Ando and Hiro take the baby to his room but there's nowhere to run. When a soldier breaks down the door, Ando concentrates and manages to blast him with his energy discharge. The other soldiers knock him out and Hiro, holding Matt Jr., concentrates... and time stops. Hiro figures that Matt Jr. is responsible for powering him up. He tries to teleport away with Ando, but discovers that he can't. He gets a wheelbarrow and wheels Ando out of the house.
Daphne wakes up in a hospital bed and discovers flowers sent to Gwen Stefani surround her. Matt explains he used his powers to convince the staff that Daphne is Stefani. Daphne remembers the story he told about the hunting party and he admits that it happened to Janice. She thinks it's interesting that he substituted her for his wife in the story, and points out that the only reason Matt loves her is because of his vision. Matt insists it's true but Daphne gets dressed and leaves at superspeed.
Tracy arrives at Union Station and finds a passport waiting for her. Micah shows up and tells her that he's Rebel. Tracy realizes exactly who she's betraying to the government, and Micah realizes it's a trap. He activates the security alarms and they leave while everyone evacuates.
Angela spots three agents coming after her and ducks into a building. She takes an elevator but soldiers arrive and stop it, then bring it back down. They open the doors to find Peter with his mother. Peter grabs Angela and flies through the ceiling hatch and up the elevator shaft.
As they leave through a parking garage, Micah points out that Tracy's resume talks about her believing in truth. He realizes that she's nothing like his mother and Tracy admits that she isn't, but might have been if she met him early in her career. They hear the soldiers approaching and duck for cover. Tracy tells Micah to activate the fire sprinklers, then to run as fast he can. As water sprays down, Tracy steps out to confront the soldiers, and then uses her powers. Everyone is frozen, including Tracy herself. The ice field spreads and Micah gets out just in time. Danko comes in once the cold has stopped spreading, pulls out a gun, and shoots Tracy in the chest. She shatters into a million pieces and collapses to the ground. Bennet arrives to inform his superior that there's no sign of Rebel.
Hiro gets Ando and Matt Jr. to the nearby bus station. He takes a baby bottle from a mother and gives it to Matt Jr. while reassuring the baby that everything will be fine but he has to be brave. Hiro then concentrates again and ends the time stasis. He tells Ando that he plans to reunite Matt Jr. with his father.
Daphne is in Paris on a rooftop admiring the scenery when Matt arrives. She's surprised that he found her so quickly and he explains that he flew. He then demonstrates, lifting up into the air. Matt takes Daphne in his arms and they fly up into the sky. Daphne realizes that he's creating a mental illusion, and how serious her condition is, and asks him to let go of her. Before he does, she asks him for one last favor: to fly her to the moon, the one place she couldn't run to. Matt flies up toward the moon with Daphne in his arms.
In Daphne's hospital room, Matt and Mohinder can do noting but watch as Daphne dies.
Peter and Angela are in the head of the Statue of Liberty, and Peter wonders what his mother wants to do next.
