Heroes is Super.Rating: 6 likes, 0 dislikes
I recently bought the season 1 DVD and fell in love with the series all over again while rewatching some episodes. The writing and storytelling are what sets this series apart from any other, sci-fi or otherwise. Each episode features seemingly random, unconnected events, but as the episodes progress, every event intertwines and climaxes in the finale. The story is well-paced, with few parts that seem to drag, and has enough twists and turns to keep you interested, guessing, and speculating all season long.

The ensemble cast is truly amazing, to say the least. Each actor/actress represents their character in a unique way and each has a certain grace when on-screen. And unlike most casts, there isn’t one “star” of the series; instead, each main character gets nearly equal screen time and has their own complex plot line full of drama, humor, and (of course) heroic acts.

All in all, Heroes is one of my favorite series and I cannot wait to see what season 2 has in store. And for any of you that have not tuned in, I highly recommend it.
