Downtown as Fruits
Not wanting to participate in "Helga Pataki's Four Food Groups - The Musical", Arnold and Gerald take the city bus downtown only to end up stranded without any money until someone drives by and throws a sack of money out the car window.


Eugene's Bike
Arnold accidently ruins Eugene's new bike. To make up for it he takes Eugene out for "a day of fun", but bad things continue to happen to Eugene. Yet, Arnold continues to live by the "every geek deserves his day" saying.

The fourth grade class goes on a field trip to the aquarium. They come to realize that "Lockjaw" the tortoise they once thought was the most amazing thing they have ever seen turns out to actually be just an old tortoise with graffiti on its back.

3 :01x03 - Arnold's Hat / Stoop Kid (Oct/14/1996)
Arnold's Hat
Arnold accidently loses his hat in the wind. Helga finds it and takes it home to use on her shrine, but when her mother throws away the things in the back of her closet she must trek through the dump to find it and return it to its downtrodden owner.


Stoop Kid
Arnold's football lands on the stoop of the Urban Legended bully "Stoop Kid", a kid who is afraid to leave his stoop that he guards with his life by bullying anyone until they run away from his stoop in shear fright. So, understandably, Arnold is nervous about getting his football back. But when Arnold accidently makes Stoop Kid the "joke of the town", he must help Stoop Kid over come his biggest fear by teaching him how to leave his stoop.

Heat
The sudden extreme heat seems to be getting to everyone. It's making Grandma act normal and it's making Arnold rebel. While trying to find a cool spot from the heat Arnold and Gerald are about to run out of ideas until they come across the others who are crowded around the Jolly Olly Man's ice cream truck where Jolly Olly Man charges a ridiculous amount for the ice cream bars. The boy who usually "does the right thing", takes a different route and with the help of Helga causes a riot to occur.


Snow
Wanting to hurry out and enjoy the first snow day of the season, Arnold makes a beeline for the front door only to be stopped by his grandpa who asks for his help in doing the chores for the cold weather, such as shoveling snow, storing the firewood, and wrapping the pipes.

Wanting to keep Arnold away from Ruth, and vice-versa, Helga plans a way to get rid of Ruth for good, but all of her plans backfire.


The Vacant Lot
Looking for a safer place to play ball, the kids find an old vacant lot and clean it up. When they come back to it the next day to play a game they find that the adults have taken over the lot and made it their own. They all then begin to argue over how the lot should be used.

The List
Armed with "A Kid's Perfect Saturday" list Arnold attempts to achieve everything on the list on one given Saturday, but his luck has run as short as his grandmother trying to get a very large piano into the boarding house.

After hearing Grandpa tell the "Legend of the Haunted Train", Arnold, Gerald, and Helga go to the old abandoned train station to see if the legend is true.

Grandpa takes Arnold and Gerald on a camping trip, while there they run into Helga and Phoebe who are in the next camp site.

Door #16
Mysterious boarder, Mr. Smith, has all of the other boarders extremely jealous of his oh-so fabulous accommodations in the boarding house. The boarders, feeling that Mr. Smith thinks he's "too good for them", start to try to find out more about him, but when a package arrives for Mr. Smith and gets in Arnold's possesion he must run around town trying to find Mr. Smith before the boarders tear the package apart trying to find out what is inside it.


Arnold as Cupid
After hearing one too many of Oscar's ridiculous excuses Susie kicks him out of their room in the boarding house, in which he moves in with Arnold. After a few occurances where it's completely clear that Oscar really does only care and think about himself, Arnold sets up a moonlight dinner in an attempt to get Oscar and Susie back together.

11 :01x11 - Benchwarmer / Cool Jerk (Dec/16/1996)
Benchwarmer
The basketball coach, Coach Wittenburg, has only one strategy to live by - only pass the ball to his son, Tucker. Disciplined for passing the ball to someone else, Arnold gets benched during practices and games. When Arnold finds out that Tucker has a weakness in the game, he helps him overcome it and then gets no credit for doing so.


Cool Jerk
A well-known older boy wants to be Arnold's friend because he "likes the shape of his head." After finding out that Frankie G. has some really nice expensive stereo equipment, he begins to wonder how Frankie can afford all of it without a job. He begins to see the real fine line behind this so-called "cool guy" after being used to break into an electronics store.

12 :01x12 - Das Subway / Wheezin' Ed (Dec/23/1996)
Das Subway
After seeing a movie at the local theater, the kids miss the last crosstown bus, in an attempt to hurry home before the sun goes down they end up all agreeing to take the subway. Even after Gerald's very good advice, "Sun goes down, stay above ground," which it seems they should have listened to when the subway ends up stopping in an underwater tunnel.


Wheezin' Ed
While looking out towards Elk Island, Arnold stumbles upon yet another of Gerald's many Urban Legends, which lead the group to go on an expedition to Elk Island to find out more about the Legend of Wheezin' Ed and his enormous fortune, but instead they stumble upon a counterfeit penny operation lead by none other than Vic and Morrie.

Torvald is a 13-year-old 4th grade bully who is having trouble with math. Arnold is chosen by Miss Slovak to tutor him, but it's coming down to being completely impossible by the looks of things since Torvald seems to only care about bullying others....and making sure his mother is proud of him.


Gerald Comes Over
While visiting the boarding house, Gerald gets introduced to all of the other boarders while Arnold collects the rent, or more accurately the IOUs and try to avoid whatever Susie is throwing at Oscar.

14 :01x14 - Spelling Bee / Pigeon Man (Jan/06/1997)
Spelling Bee
Wanting to win the $500.00 prize, Arnold joins the spelling bee competition and so does Helga by the demands of her father. But Helga's dad is so confident that she will win that he makes room for the award where Olga's awards usually occupy, promises people that if his daughter does not win he will give them free beepers, and...to top it all off - pay off Arnold, by giving him a check for the $500.00, to lose on purpose just so Helga can win.


Pigeon Man
After trying to send a note to Gerald about the baseball game at GeraldField through a carrier Pigeon, Arnold finds out that his pigeon Chester is ill, and after being told about the Pigeon Man by Gerald through one of his Urban Legend schpeils decides to take Chester to the Pigeon Man for help.

Olga Comes Home
Helga's older sister Olga is back from college for her spring break.


Sally's Comet
Arnold and Gerald are wanting to see Sally's Comet, a comet that only becomes visible every 70 years. After sending away for a telescope by eating a lot of cereal, they end up with another delimma - how will they be able to see the comet with all the light pollution, unless they can get everyone to turn off their lights right before the comet appears?

16 :01x16 - Abner Come Home / The Sewer King (Jan/20/1997)
Abner Come Home
After being yelled at for dragging in the garbage, Abner feels dejected. When he sees a cat he forgets all about being yelled at and chases after the cat. In such, Arnold then searches all over town to find him.


The Sewer King
After accidentally dropping his grandfather's antique watch down a sewer drain, Arnold and Gerald travel down to the sewer below to find and retreive it where they meet "The Sewer King" who has decided that the watch is a "Royal Icon" and will not give it back to them, but decides to let them be his two new 'Royal Rat Groomers'.

Someone has framed Eugene by pulling the fire alarm and making all of the evidence says the culprit is Eugene, but could the real culprit be found out through a student-lead trial?

Magic Show
Arnold sets up a magic show to show off his 'magic' talents to his friends and classmates. At the end of his show he makes Helga disappear much to the happyness of the others, but when he tries to bring her back she sneaks away - and ends up running into a pole causing her to fall alseep and dream that she really has disappeared.


24 Hours to Live
A re-done version of the pilot.
After mistakenly hitting Harold in the head with a baseball, Harold decides to give him a beating and everyone else a show the next day. With Helga constantly reminding him of when he is 'going to die', he begins to fear for his life until he gets a brilliant idea.

To learn more about what Mr. Hyunh may possibly want for Christmas he talks with him and finds out that Mr. Hyunh would love to be re-united with his daughter Mai Hyunh. There's only one problem...how is he going to find her in Hillwood when the only man in town who can help him find her says he won't help him unless he gets a pair of Nancy Spumoni Snow Boots for the man to give his daughter for Christmas?

She comes back from the dead every anniversary of the murders. Arnold, Gerald, Eugene, Harold, and Stinky are scared twice by Helga and Curly, by them pretending to be the ghost of Cynthia Snell, the Ghost Bride.
