Two older girls, planning to make their boyfriends jealous, ask Arnold and Gerald to their school dance. Unknowing that they are being used, the boys agree to go.

The Baseball
Arnold's favorite baseball player is retiring and Arnold plans on watching his last game. But nothing seems to be going right until he catches Kaline's last homeroom ball made at bat.
