Episode Summary

Curly Snaps
When Curly is cheated out of the kickball collecting position at school, he goes mad and he locks himself inside the principal’s office. As the entire school becomes involved in this spreading crisis, Arnold is selected as a negotiator and he must figure out what exactly Curly is upset about.

Pre-Teen Scream
Phoebe likes to be considered smart and reasonable, though she’s really just like every girl her age, especially when it comes to the pop star Ronnie Mathews. Phoebe would like nothing more than to spend time with him, though when she wins two tickets to actually do such, she isn’t certain if she’ll have the resolve to go through with it.

Episode Notes

Curly locks himself in the principal's office and uses Arnold as a negotiator. In a situation like this, cops call it "a hostage situation."

Apparently, if you listen to Mr. Wartz, he wants to MARRY Ronnie Matthews.

This episode aired in the Philippines on January 1, 2000

"I'm mad as heck, and I'm not gonna take it anymore" and "Here's Curly" are from the movies Network and The Shining respectively, except it's "Johnny" instead of "Curly," and it's not exactly "heck" in Network.

Episode Goofs

In "Pre-Teen Scream," when the all of the children were sitting on Arnold's porch listining to his radio, they show a close-up of Phoebe talking and we see in the backround Arnold has no pants on. Just flesh, but re-appears when they zoom out of the close-up.

Curly said he had 500 kickballs in that bag. Judging by the size of the bag, it doesn't look like it could even hold 50.

What if Ronnie, Phoebe, and Helga would go to a nicer, better restaurant?
