Summary
Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is an animated show from Cartoon Network. It debuted November 2004 and it was created by Sam Register, who is the vice president of Cartoon Network.

The Show
The show is based on the real Puffy AmiYumi and their music. The two Japanese pop-stars are drawn into an animated world. Ami is the pink haired, ultra preppy girl who loves nature, animals and her music. Yumi is the blue haired, somewhat sarcastic punk rock girl who loves to rock out loud. They travel around the world along with their greedy band manager Kaz, and perform live. Though they tend to get into trouble along the way, but with great music and friendship, there's always a solution.

Most of the time, they play actual songs from the real Puffy themselves, and even in the beginning and end, we see the real girls going around town doing either playing music or doing random stuff. Each episode usually offers three segments.
