This spin-off of Highlander: The Series finds Amanda, a 1200 year old Immortal and thief, has become involved with Nick Wolfe, a private investigator, who resigned as a detective for the police force after a cover up in the department over his partner's apparent murder by crooked cops. Now working mostly freelance, Nick teams up with Amanda to stop injustices and the evil plots of other Immortals.

Janet, the sister of a hacker who was killed by an Immortal, is a friend of Amanda's and asks for her help to bring her brother's killer to justice. Nick and Amanda decide to take on this endeavor. The Immortal, Payton, in an old adversary of Amanda's that doesn't always fight fair, even in duals with other Immortals. Their clash will lead to a life changing event for Nick.
