Elliot Hope [2005 - present], played by Paul Bradley

Lovable and bumbling, cardiothoracic consultant Elliot Hope is one of life’s thinkers, treading the line between genius and eccentricity. Though disorganised, Elliot thrives on chaos. Do not be fooled; his surgical skills are as sharp as the scalpel he holds.

Elliot is renowned for his sweet tooth and his health has suffered – in these times of efficiencies, can this old-school surgeon keep up with his younger surgical contemporaries?
Jac Naylor [2005 - present], played by Rosie Marcel

Driven and single-minded, Jac is a one-track political animal who has no qualms about using her 'Jachiavellian' tactics to get what she wants - power. She thinks those who don’t play the game are naïve and claims not to care about life and love outside of medicine.

Jac has deliberately galvanised herself against the hurt she felt when her mother abandoned her at twelve years old – she wants to be recognised, she wants to be proud of herself, but will she ever get there?
Jonny Maconie [2012 - present], played by Michael Thomson

Charismatic, cocky and roughish, Jonny has no qualms about telling a few white lies to stir up some mischief, but he’ll never compromise patient care and has a long-standing professional relationship with best mate, Mo.

He’d easily settle down with the right woman but until then he’s happy to have a little fun.
Arthur Digby [2013 - present], played by Rob Ostlere

Naïve and socially awkward, Arthur often has trouble understanding the subtleties of the human psyche. But his overwhelming enthusiasm is infectious and has made him an instant hit on the Keller ward.

He reads voraciously and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of specific and often unusual areas of life. Arthur approaches patient cases with over-analytical enthusiasm, forgoing the bedside manner for piles of medical journals and unusual diagnoses.
Dominic Copeland [2013 - present], played by David Ames

Troubled and trouble in equal measure, Dom’s a wily schemer who is always working an angle. Intelligent and sharp-witted, he’s actually very sensitive and is easily wounded, often believing himself to be the victim and justifying his actions as self-defence.

Fiercely protective of, and generous towards, those he favours, Dom can also be surly and vindictive towards those he feels have betrayed him. When it comes to fact versus fiction, Dom prefers to glamorise.

Complicated, unpredictable and deliciously wicked, one thing’s for sure: things are a lot more interesting when Dom’s around…
Harry Tressler [2013 - present], played by Jules Knight

Arrogant, privileged and acerbically witty, first impressions of Harry can be misleading, but di
