Alf Stewart [1988-present], played by Ray Meagher
Alf Stewart is one of Summer Bay well loved residents, he is a friend to everyone and like a father to most and you wouldn't want him as an enemy. He has two children and one he didn't even know about until after he had died. He never even knew his son who his first love gave away as a baby and later while searching for him found out he had been killed by his new found grandson Ric Dalby. Alf and his first wife had Roo who had a baby Martha who she put up for adoption and left Summer bay, now Martha is back living in Summer Bay. Alf and his second wife Ailsa had Duncan who has also left the bay. Alf has four sisters, Morag, Celia, Barbara and Colleen - who he only recently found out was his long lost sister. His wife Ailsa died in 2000 but when Alf had a brain tumor, Ailsa appeared to him. The last time Alf was in love with some one was the scheming Bridget. He currently lives at the Caravan Park. |
