Amanda Vale [2005-2006], played by Holly Brisley
Amanda moved to Summer Bay in 2005 she used to be married to Dan Baker, they have a son, Ryan. When Amanda first cam to the bay she automatically started trouble, she tried to ruin Leah and Dan's wedding and then tried to make it look like she saved it. She had many clashes with Irene and mainly Beth because she got together with Scott and to keep him she pretended she was pregnant, but Josh West was threatening her and told her that he would expose her lie, so Amanda faked a miscarrage but Scott later found out. She then started seeing Graham Walters, Beth's father and only married him for his money. Amanda and Josh were involved in project 56 but when Josh turned up dead, Amanda got the blame. She found out that her daughter was Belle Taylor. Amanda's mother Kitty, told her that her baby had died but she had actually sold her baby to a couple to couldn't have children. Belle and Amanda didn't get along at first but later they became like best friends but Amanda started having an affair with Belle's boyfriend, Drew Curtis, Belle did eventually forgive her. Amanda's sister Kelli arrived to stay with her, but Amanda didn't understand why, because Kelli never forgave her for leaving her in a car after an accident they had. Amanda was happy to have her sister back, but Belle wasn't sure about her. Kelli got her boyfriend Ethan to take photos of him and Amanda in bed together while Amanda was drunk, which they were shown to everyone on Amanda and Peter's wedding day. Kelli's plan was soon revealed as she chased Amanda in her car so that it would crash, just what she wanted, so that Amanda could suffer just as she did. When Peter realised that Amanda didn't sleep with Ethan, they got back together. |
