Cassie Turner [2005-2007], played by Sharni Vinson
Cassie moved to Summer Bay with her grandmother in 2005. When her grandmother died Sally and Flynn decided to take her in. She liked Ric but when they got too close she got scared and revealed that her uncle abused her. When her uncle came to see his mother - Cassie's grandmother, Cassie discovered that he was also abusing her young cousin too. Cassie was on and off with Ric, she then met Martha MacKenzie's foster brother Macca and started seeing him, but later he slaped her after she discovered he took drugs, she forgave him but he hurt her again and again. He left but eventually came back, and Cassie cheated on Ric with him, and Macca hit her again but that was the last time and he left for good. Cassie later met Henk, an old friend of Brad Armstrong's, Rachel then had to reveal that Henk raped he at one time and told Cassie to stay away from him, but she didn't listen. Cassie later discovered after getting pregnant to Henk that she contracted HIV from him, Henk then left her. Cassie left Summer Bay in 2008 with Sally and her daughter Pippa. |
