Episode discussion for: 02x01 | The Smile (Sep 30, 2012)

Another show I'm getting excited about seeing again. And congratulations toHomeland for their Emmys.

(but I still think BrBa is the TV drama ever!)

I caught a sneek preview of this episode on Comcast On Demand the other night. Of course they didn't show the entire episode, but what they did show was very good.I'm intrigued by the story line and the fact that Carrie is Bi Polar. It is a personal connection for me and I was interested in how the show would portray this.

Have you seen the first season? If not I wish you had seen the first season marathon Saturday.

big2, Yes I'm up to speed.
Thought this episode went by way too quickly.
Brody's wife is in a predicament, yet his daughter has become his ally.

When Brody was left unattended in the Directors office
it reminded me of Walt in Hank's office.

Brody's daughter becoming his ally sorta surprised me on some level even though she needs his attention. His wife is the one that may become suspicious, or maybe the boy.

PS: Glad you're up to speed.

Great catch, I didn't even think of that.

It just feels happier in here than over there. That place is in need of some discipline (Pamela style). Still there are a few good posters. What strikes me is how few people there are compared to our main hangout.

Estes really bugs me. I just wanted Carrie to punch him in the face tonight. I can handle Saul dragging her back in, but not Estes.

How great is Mandy Patinkin by the way? I think he deserved a little recognition at the Emmys.

Looks like our Libyan embassy could learn a few tricks from Saul.

I don't like or trust Estes, no reason, just don't.

Agreed Saul (Mandy Patinkin) is a wonderful character.

I'm surprised the car was allowed to leave without any damage.

Hey you guys! I think you are missing out on some pretty good discussions on the main Showtime forum. Just sayin, I know the format is not as nice but the volume has picked up and I would like to see your thoughts over there.

Yeah I think you are right, I did check the action at Sho but I don't want to join to many sites. I'm already confused about who I am and where I am. LOL

Maybe later, I've been considering dropping this site since there is so little action but I've been here a long. Kinda a habit I guess.
