Episode Quotes

Hornblower: Each Captain has his own way, Archie.
Kennedy: Tell that to the young seaman of yours that we scraped off the deck and threw over the side.

Hornblower: The man's a national hero. He's earned earned his place in history.
Kennedy: It's not history that concerns me, Horatio. It's the future.

Hobbs: Beware a loose tongue, Mister Matthews, you never know where it may lead.
Matthews: Me tongue may be loose, Mister Hobbs, but at least it's not raw from licking the Captain's ass.

Matthews: (to Styles) I don't believe a bit of bruising about the face improves your looks.

Dr. Clive: Mutiny, in other words. Why are you so frightened of that word? You don't seem frightened of the fact that someone shoved him down that ladder and nearly killed him.
