Free Elka - Recap

The scene opens with Elka in a jail cell. She has a harmonica and sings “Nobody Knows” and she has someone in the jail cell with her. The lady recognizes Elka as being in the Mafia family. They talk for a little bit until an officer takes the lady away. Melanie, Victoria and Joy come and they tell that they are trying to get the money together but it proves harder than normal since Elka yelled at the judge for calling her Elderly. Elka tells that Victoria has thousands of dollars in her accounts. Victoria tells that she couldn’t get a hold of her bank manager since the tornado. She looks at her phone and sees that she has full bars. She gets off the phone and Victoria tells that her business manager has been indicted for tax fraud and all of her assets are frozen. She is poor. Elka tells that she needs to she needs to front up and bug down. She tells that it is prison talk and Joy tells that she has been there for 3 hours.

Melanie starts to think of good ways to get money and Elka tells that they have to find a way to get money. At the house, the girls are trying to sell their things to the local neighborhood. However, they aren’t buying much. Rick comes over and Melanie tells that it is all forgotten about her seeing him naked. He tells Joy that the dope head mailman mixed up their mail and tells that she is in the need for a green card. He tells that he can help her with that and marry her for the card. She asks what he gets out of it. Rick goes up to a girl and introduces Joy as his fiancé. He stops her reaction and tells that she is probably thinking that he either has a lot of money, is good in bed or incredibly wonderful. She tells that all of them passed her men and Rick tells that he is going to get laid. Joy tells that she doesn’t need a fake marriage and Rick asks what they are doing. He tells that they have to offer something that people want. Such as are his balls. Joy is confused and he tells that he collects baseballs, basketballs and footballs.

Pete comes over and Pete has an Officer-In-Training with him. The newbie tells that an officer has to make an arrest when a crime is in process; he has to make an arrest. Joy and Elka are now in jail and Joy tells that she is going to be deported because her status was already in jeopardy and now it just pushed it over. She tells that she needs a drink and Elka tells that there is some wine in the cinderblock. “Chateau De Nerf de Elka” is the name of the wine. She tells that it is a good year. 2:00. Joy takes two glasses and tells that she got an email from her son telling that he wanted to wait longer before she sees her. Melanie tells Pete that she is not going to talk to him and tells him not to be a Narc. Victoria comes and tells that an annonomous donor gave enough to free Elka and get Victoria to Chicago for Botox. Joy tells that she needs out too.

Victoria of course picks Joy and later, they sit at the restaurant and Victoria tells that two of her pals just got out of prison and tells that she feels white trashy already. Joy goes to the bar and he was admiring his balls. Joy finds out that Rick was the donor and he tells that Elka was very “giving” to Rick and she tells that she needs a husband and he tells that she needs to ask him. She gets on her knee and Melanie asks why Joy is getting on her knees in front of Rick and Elka tells that prison changes a woman. Joy comes over and tells that she and Rick are engadged for a fake marriage. They are happy for her. At the bar, Rick flirts with the bartender and tells that Joy is his fiancé. He asks for wine and the girl’s number. He tells that nothing lasts forever.

Pete comes in and tells that he heard that Melanie told him that she loved him. He tells that he tried to say it back, but some leaves flew into his mouth. He says it again and she forgives him. Elka comes over and asks why Pete is there. Melanie tells that he told that he loves her and so they like him again just as long as he doesn’t arrest her friends. Rick comes over with the wine and Pete asks what it is for. Elka tells that it is for Joy’s fake marriage to get a green card. She asks if he has a problem with that and he tells that he doesn’t.
