I Love Lucci (1) - Recap

The scene opens with Elka looking at the reservation list and the host tells her that she is not allowed to look at that. She says that Robert Redford is supposed to be eating at the same restaurant and she wants to meet him. He tells Elka no, but she smiles and he allows her. Melanie, Victoria and Joy are talking to their friend and talk about how nice Cleveland is and they don’t have to do anything. Victoria has a role on “All My Children” and she is to lie on the steps in bra and underwear and give a heart felt speech. She says that Susan Luci doesn’t have any lines at all. Melanie tells her friend that Victoria hasn’t eaten anything. Her friend suggests that she eats some carrots or at least chew them up and then spit them out. All the girls are shocked to not know the latest trends. Melanie says that she is selling her home in L.A. finally. Elka comes over and Joy asks if Robert Redford has put on a restraining order already and Elka says that he is eating there tomorrow. Melanie says that it is impossible to get a reservation and Elka says that it is not hard for Cleveland grandmas. She smiles and the girls’ friend says that she never has seen natural aging. Victoria sees a man checking them out and Melanie says that they are probably romanticizing Cleveland too much, but then find out that the man was waving at the cute blondes behind them.

On the set, Victoria stands close to Joy and tells her that she is only smelling the food. A man Joy recognizes sneaks by and Joy tells Victoria that he was the man who gave her a one night stand. Victoria says that he is Michael Knight. She stops Joy from making a scene and Susan Luci bumps into Victoria and says, “Sorry Sir.” She apologizes and says that she thought Victoria was a man. Victoria introduces Joy to Susan and Susan asks if Joy has been eating strawberries and tells that she swells up if she gets into contact with them. Susan tells Victoria that she talked to the producers and they have changed her scene a smidge. However, when she gets ready, instead of sexy underwear, she is in a hospital bed with her head wrapped up. She is not happy. Later, Elka tells Melanie that she is waiting to go to the restaurant and Melanie says sthat she is having a hard time deciding what furniture to get rid of because the potential buyers want the furniture. Elka says that she will drive herself and Melanie says that she lost her driving privliages when Elka flipped off Tom Hanks. Melanie says that everything she knows in the house. Elka says that she has memories with her in the same spot getting bored.

Back on the set, Victoria is in a hospital bed with her head wrapped up. She tells Joy that she is not happy with the fact that she is not in sexy underwear for her speech. Joy tells her that it is fine. Susan comes in and tells Victoria that they are changing her speech by having Susan say the lines instead. They begin shooting the scene, but Victoria keeps interrupting it because she is upset that she is not getting any lines. Susan suggests they get an aged pineapple instead of Victoria. At the restaurant, the host comes over and says that Robert Redford is not coming and they don’t know where he is. Elka says that they better know or she will go all Charlie Sheen on the place. The host tells Elka that he had heard that he is going to be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight. Melanie says that she can’t drive her to Kimmel because she is meeting with the couple. Elka tells her that is alright because she is going to get Bruce Willis to take her. Back on the set, Michael Knight is reading lines and talks about his evil twin, Alex. Joy walks up to Michael Knight and tells him who she is. He plays dumb and tells her that she was with his twin brother Alex, from the show. However, Joy doesn’t pick up on it and buys it. Victoria tells Joy that she needs her. She tells her that they need to think of a way to get back to Susan Luci.

Elka gets to Kimmel and asks where the guest stars are and the stagehand is taken by her dimples and points her in the right direction. Meanwhile, Melanie meets with the couple interested in her house and she tells them that she had so many happy memories. Melanie says that her memories are from her kids because her husband was never home. The woman says that she can relate and Melanie changes subjects to the wine cooler and the man tells Melanie that his wife can really drink a lot of wine. They get into a fight about having kids and they say that they don’t need the house. Back on set, Victoria and Joy sneak in and Victoria and Joy dab the tissues with Strawberries. They hear something, but realize it is no one. Joy tries to open the door, but they are locked in.

On Kimmel, Elka sneaks on stage during the airing of Kimmel and asks when Robert Redford is going to be on. Elka makes herself comfortable and Kimmel goes along with it and asks what she is doing. Elka asks if Robert Redford ever sat in the chair and Kimmel says that he did and she starts rubbing herself on the chair. She tells Kimmel it was good for her when he asks how it was. Elka tries to give her number out if anyone knows where Robert Redford is, but Kimmel cuts to a commercial. Back on the set of “All My Children”, Joy says that they can bang on the door, but Victoria tells her to give her a boost. Meanwhile on the other side of the wall, Susan is shooting a scene when Victoria jumps over the side and lands on Susan. At Melanie’s house, Victoria runs inside and tells that they need to hide her because she might have killed Susan Luci. Melanie asks where Joy is. They show Joy stuck in the room and Michael opens the door. He sweeps her off her feet and takes her to his dressing room.
