I Love Lucci (2) - Recap

The scene opens with Melanie and Elka in an alley when they find a dead guy. Elka asks the dead guy where the Robert Redford movie is filming. It turns out that they were on a set for a crime drama. Melanie does her impersonation of David Crusoe and makes herself laugh. Elka asks what is going on with her and tells the crew that Melanie has lost her mind and walks off. In a hospital, a nurse comes in and gives Susan her breakfast. She tells her that she is feeling much better. The nurse says that the newspaper is talking about how Victoria attacked her and the tabloids are saying that Susan is dead. Susan says that she is in Heaven because they found a picture of Victoria in a bathing suit and her cottage cheese of thighs. The nurse tells Susan that Victoria has been waiting and Susan tells her to tell Victoria that Susan is in a coma.

In the waiting room, Joy says that the tabloids don’t mention her and her new boyfriend, Michael Knight. She asks if Victoria is worried for Susan and Victoria says that if she was in any bad condition, the press would be all over the place. Joy gloats about her new boyfriend and says that he is much better than his twin brother, Alex. The nurse comes out and says that Susan is still in a coma. Joy says, “Yeah!” and says not because of Susan, but because her new boyfriend is taking her out to dinner in his new Ferrari. Victoria goes inside and the nurse says that she has a friend who dated Michael Knight and he broke her heart. Joy says that it could have been his evil twin. The nurse says that Alex is the evil twin brother on the show only and not in real life. Joy is stunned.

Inside the room, Victoria talks to Susan and starts to quote show lines. She takes a moment and says that she is sorry for treating her like she did including the strawberry prank. Susan sits up when Victoria’s back is turned and is shocked. She lies back down and Victoria says that she could have made a friend instead of an enemy. Melanie and Elka arrive on the movie set and Elka says that they can ask the Hollywood fairy. Melanie thinks that she is talking about a gay guy and Elka says that there is really a fairy and points to the woman dressed like a fairy. She asks where the Robert Redford movie is filming and she points them to a group of extras. Elka says that they can be extras. Elka gilts Melanie to go with her on it with telling her that she is going to be in prison. Melanie agrees. Elka tells that they can hitch a ride with a fruit and Melanie turns around and sees a man dressed in a strawberry outfit.

Victoria goes to the set of “All My Children” and sees the director. Joy says that she is going to go see her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend. Victoria walks over to the director and he says that they want to do the scene again, but with Victoria giving the speech. He says that she will deliver the speech to a photograph of Susan. They start shooting and Susan walks on set. She says that she is there for Victoria and asks the director to go back to the original way. Victoria is speechless to which Susan says, “You are now.” Meanwhile, Joy goes up to Michael’s room and says that she has horrible news. She tells him that she ran into Alex and he flew into a jealous rage and started damaging the Ferrari. Michael confesses that he doesn’t have an evil twin and Joy says that now he doesn’t have a car. Back on set, they are shooting the scene with Victoria wrapped up and Susan steals what Victoria said to her in the hospital. Afterwards, Susan lies and says that the lines came to her in the hospital.

Elka and Melanie are in the movie set as extras and Melanie says that this is second unit and Robert Redford is not going to be there. She says that they need to get out of the clothes. Elka says that Robert Redford will see her in editing. She says that she will probably get a solitary cell and Melanie agrees to stay. They start filming and Melanie is drenched with water. Back at the house, Joy says that she is not meant for romance. Melanie says that Michael had Joy convinced. They talk about how they always talked about Joy’s failed romances. Joy says that she called the studio and threatened a sexual harassment suit on Michael Knight if they didn’t cut the hospital scene and give Victoria a new part. Victoria says that she squeezed a strawberry into Susan’s moisturizer. Melanie is sad that she is selling the house and has a lot of memories.

Elka comes in and says that their flight leaves at Noon and riding on the same flight as Robert Redford. Melanie says that she doesn’t care she just wants to get home. She stops and is happy that she called Cleveland home. They all agree that Cleveland is called home. She tells them wherever they are, there she’ll be. Melanie says that she has to do one thing. Back in Cleveland, Melanie hammers on the door jam from the old house to the one inside her new home and says, “Now it’s home”.
