Hot In Cleveland: How I Met My Mother

Joy is stunned when her son Owen arrives in Cleveland. She hasn't seen him since he was given up for adoption as a baby, and she has no idea how to proceed. The fact that she accidentally shoots him certainly doesn't help matters. Meanwhile, Victoria's prison pen pal is released, and Elka tries to teach her dog tricks for a Church function.

The scene opens with Elka asking Joy to stand like the Statue of Liberty. She tells her dog to attack. Melanie comes in and asks what is going on. Joy tells that Elka is trying to get Dummy to attack her. Melanie says that his name is Chance now because Elka thought that the old name was holding him back. Melanie tells that there is a program at church where dogs are going to reenact Stories from the Bible. Joy tells that Elka can’t even get him to sit. Elka tells that she can and attempts to show her, but Chance doesn’t want to listen. Victoria comes in and tells she has a confession. She tells that she pen-paled an inmate in the prison and pretended to be Joy. She says that he got paroled and the last letter that he wrote was that he was going to track her down and get her. She says that she is sorry and Joy says that they need to be on the lookout and asks if they have a picture. Victoria says that she never asked for a picture of him, but she sent the picture of Joy in a see-through bikini. They get a call. The caller asks if Joy is there and then hangs up. ..
