Arch Enemies - Recap

The scene opens with Victoria on air on Oh Hi! Ohio and Colin, her co-anchor, tells about a new app that allows you to smell wine. He says that senior citizens can’t smell it when he offers Victoria a smell. Victoria lies and says that she smells it. He further teases her by telling her that she can taste it by licking it. When she licks it, she says that she can taste the freshness. Suddenly the app laughs and it is a “Gotcha” message. Victoria gets home and vents her frustration of Colin always making her look bad and always telling her to get over it. Joy tells that Victoria came to the right person if she wants to get even. Joy asks Victoria what Colin’s “horse’s head” is. Victoria is confused and Joy asks what his weakness is. Victoria says that he is a ladies man. Joy says that she will dump him after dating him a little bit. Victoria likes the plan.

Melanie comes in and tells that she ran into “Dead Wife Guy” Bill, the man who almost threw up because Melanie looks like his dead wife. She tells that they are going to go on a date and says that he imports Italian Designer shoes. Melanie says that she found the #3 on the perfect husband list. Elka Skype's from Paris and tells that girls that she is having a croissant. She teases Victoria about liking the iPad on TV by asking her if she wants to take a lick. Later at Victoria’s work, Joy walks into Colin’s office and they hit it off right away from having so much in common with one another. He says that he just needs to get his coat. Victoria comes in and asks how things are going. Joy tells that it is going well and says that she likes “Cool Joy” because she isn’t uptight and jealous. She tells that there could be a naked woman in the closet and she wouldn’t care. Victoria says that no one would hide in a closet. They hear that Colin is coming back and Victoria hides in the closet. She tells that it doesn’t count.

Meanwhile, Melanie meets with Bill and he says that he can get her a sample of the shoes. He drops a fork and takes picture of Melanie’s feet with his phone. He says that she has beautiful toe cleavage. She gets back from her date and says that she thinks that her date might be into her feet. Victoria says that he is a “shrimper”, a man who loves toes. She says that she could be over-thinking it and says that he just said that she has beautiful feet. Joy tells that men don’t compliment feet. Joy gets a text from Colin and she giggles. She tells that it is an inside joke that her and Colin have. Victoria celebrates because having her break up with Colin is the best. However, when Victoria leaves, Joy tells that she has fallen for Colin. She tells that she doesn’t do well when she is not “Cool Joy”. Melanie tells that she is going to have to fake being “Cool Joy”. The next day, Victoria comes in to Colin’s office with jelly all over her. She asks if he sabotaged the doughnut box. Colin laughs and says that Victoria always says that she never eats sweets. Victoria overhears Colin tell his friend that he is getting serious with Joy.

Later that evening, Bill gives Melanie a ring box. She opens to find a toe ring. He gets on one knee and asks if he can. She says yes and everyone claps. However they stop when they see Bill put it on her toe. Melanie gets in later and says that she is definitely dating a shrimper and says that she is alright with it. She asks how that is going to work out and Joy tells her that she doesn’t really know. Victoria comes in and tells that she has wonderful news. She says that Colin is really into Joy. Excited, Joy asks how she knows that. Victoria says that she has a date tonight and that Joy is going to break up with him on the porch at the second wind chime. Then Victoria will be able to tell him to “Get over it”. Later that night, Joy tells Colin to leave and tells that she will tell him later. Victoria comes out, but Joy tells that she has fallen for Colin. Victoria understands and says that she will have to get back at Colin some other way. Melanie texts Joy and asks her to lunch and calls her “Baby”. Joy gets nervous and Melanie says that she can do it. The next day, Melanie has Bill over and tells that she is good with what he likes. He asks if he can role-play and pretends to be a cop and Melanie a girl with her feet out a window. He pulls out clothes for Melanie’s feet. She is too frightened about it and says that it isn’t going to work.

Joy goes into Colin’s office and Colin’s secretary says that a package came for him. Joy asks who it is from and he says that it is probably from a fan. She reads the note and asks who “Love You, Jennifer” is. She tries to be “Cool Joy”, but can’t hold back and opens the box. It explodes with green powder. Victoria jumps out with “Get over It”, but sees Joy. She tells that she got jealous and hears Colin coming back. Victoria hides in the closet and Joy tells Colin that she is really jealous when she cares for a guy. He says that he normally dumps a girl before getting with them seriously. They agree that the relationship isn’t going to go anywhere, but agree that they still can get “busy”. Victoria crawls out of the closet and tells him to “Get over It”. The next day, Melanie and Joy are watching Victoria on the show and sees that Colin is bald. Joy tells that she put something in the shampoo. However, she still thinks that he is attractive. Melanie says good night and leaves Joy with her thoughts. The episode ends.
