Life With Lucci - Recap

The scene opens with Victoria screaming. She comes downstairs and says that Emmy’s rewrite of their script of her life makes Victoria come off as a “Mommy Dearest”. Victoria is glad that they are in Cleveland where they are forgiving. Elka says that it is too forgiving because of Barron Davis, point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Melanie comes in and says that she has been bathing suit shopping. She says that Woman’s Day asks her to speak in Bermuda and it is women only. Melanie shows her choices and wants to squeeze into a skimpy bikini so that people will be jealous of her. The doorbell rings and Victoria sees that it is a delivery of flowers. Joy asks if she sent herself flowers again and Victoria says that she did. However, a familiar voice tells Victoria that they are from her. Victoria knows the voice and reveals that it is Susan Lucci. Dramatic music plays and everyone looks around. It is Elka’s new ringtone. She is experimenting with them.

Elka says that this is exciting to have a celebrity in the house. Victoria gets offended and says that she is big and Elka says that, compared to Lucci, Victoria is a moose. Lucci says that she has nowhere to turn since All My Children was canceled. Victoria doesn’t give her any sympathy and says that she is not going to have her in the house. Elka says that Lucci is so cute and she asks them to show her to her dressing room. They tell her that they don’t have any. Lucci says that she will never survive in the wild. The next day, Elka reaches for something in the cabinet and Lucci uses her “Sky Hook” and says that it was made for her by NASA (National Association of Soap Actresses). Elka says that the “Sky Hook” is what Barron needs to up his game. Lucci says that she knows people and can help Elka out. Melanie comes up and helps her out too from offering her miracle supplement that will help her loose way. Joy comes in and says that her date was horrible. Lucci says that she has a guy for her and says that she will call to hook her up with him. Elka says that she likes her better then Victoria in the house.

Victoria comes in and says that she overheard them and says that Lucci is trying to get on their good side so that she can destroy them somehow. Victoria says that she won’t get “Luccied” again. She walks out and Dramatic music plays again. It is Elka’s voicemail alert. Victoria goes out to the living room and doesn’t believe Lucci’s friendly greeting. She says that she is on to her, but Lucci says that she wants to prove that she has changed. Later, Barron comes up to Elka and says that he has great skills, but the “Sky Hook” could be his trademark. He agrees with it. Meanwhile, Lucci tells the guy that she knows for Joy and it turns out that he is a prostitute. She says that she wants to help Joy out. Joy comes in and meets David, the prostitute playing doctor. The next day at the house, Melanie is eating like a pig and Victoria says that Lucci has nothing on her. Melanie gloats that she lost 5lbs already and she eats all the time. Joy comes down and is “dressed to say yes”. Joy says that she has already said yes and that it is easy being with David. Melanie and Elka go out for greasy cheeseburgers. Lucci comes in and startles Victoria. She asks if anything is wrong and she says that she knows that she is up to something. Victoria finds her movie script. She says that she wanted to wrap it. Victoria says that she may have misjudged Lucci.

At the restaurant, Dr. Fadden comes in and tells Melanie that she has a tape worm! She says that is why Melanie is losing weight. Joy pays for the lunch and Agents come up and tell Joy that David is a prostitute. Joy tells Melanie that she has been “Luccied” and says that she is getting arrested for having a prostitute. Melanie says that she gave her a tape worm. They go into the house and tell Lucci that she double-crossed her. Victoria says that she knew it, but Lucci says that she didn’t mean to ruin people’s lives. Elka gets a call from Barron that tells her that he is leaving the team. She says that she has been “Luccied” too. Victoria comes out and tells Lucci that she has called her a cab. However, she realizes that Lucci is crying. She says that she wanted to come to Cleveland to see how Victoria reinvented herself. Victoria says that that took time. Lucci tells her that she shouldn’t let the producers paint her so meanly. However, Victoria, Melanie, Joy and Elka watch the trailer to Victoria’s movie. Lucci is playing her part. They realize that they were all “Luccied”. The episode ends.
