Claus, Tails & High Pitched Males: Birthdates 3 - Recap

The episode begins with Melanie in a confession box, telling the priest that she has sinned. She confesses to the priest she told her friend Joy that she has a great guy to fix her up with, but actually she has none. She then tells him that instead of celebrating their birthdays the girls have something called birth dates, where the three friends set each other up. She also tells the priest that the dates are usually disasters. The priest then asks Melanie if she has a picture of Joy. Later Joy is shocked to know that Melanie has set her up with a priest. Melanie in turn tells Joy he is giving up his priesthood, as he believes it’s no longer his calling.

Joy on the other hand also feels that, without any prior experience in dating women the priest would need a guide like her. Joy then tells Victoria that she has found the perfect person for Victoria. Elka in the meanwhile tells Victoria to find her a billionaire. Elka meanwhile has managed to get Melanie a date with one of the cast members from the show Jersey Boys, by sending the cast member Melanie’s naked picture. Later Victoria tells Elka that her billionaire can’t make it, as he has gotten somewhat involved in a drug cartel. Victoria then finds Elka an eighty year old man to date. Joy in the meanwhile has gotten Victoria a date with a handsome man. Just then the priest walks in and Melanie introduces him to Joy as Father Brian.

Melanie later meets Jimmy from Jersey Boys. Jimmy then begins talking and turns out that, he has a funny voice. Melanie thinks he is doing it deliberately and begins laughing. He tells her that is how he actually talks. Victoria in the meanwhile is shocked to know that her date has a tail. Meanwhile, Joy tells Brian to look to her for guidance when it comes to women. Meanwhile, Melanie can’t control her laughter every moment she hears Jimmy’s high pitched and funny voice. Later Victoria tells the girls that her date has a tail. Melanie then tells the girls that eh date sounds like Mickey Mouse, and she is having a hard time controlling her laughter. Victoria advises Melanie to bite the inside of her cheek to control her laughter.

Joy on the other hand tells the girls that her date is going great, and that Brian finds her irresistible. He is in fact giving up his priesthood for her. Elka meanwhile tells the girls that her date is possibly Santa Claus. Elka tells the girls that she will get him to admit to her that, he is Santa Claus. She then calls him ‘Santa’ and he responds. He then tells her to keep this fact a secret. He then tells Elka that he likes Cleveland and hence wants to move to Cleveland. He reveals to her that he is tired of carrying the burden of being Santa, and can’t do it anymore. Brian in the meanwhile is still being coached by Joy. Brian also can’t help looking and lusting after all the beautiful women around and feels guilty about it. Jimmy in the meanwhile quotes some Shakespeare to Melanie, and she tries Victoria’s method to control her laughter.

Later an exasperated Joy tells the girls how, Brian was checking out Melanie’s breasts. Elka meanwhile, tells the girls that Santa wants to quit his job. Victoria tells Elka to save Christmas by telling her to prevent Santa from quitting. Victoria later tells the girls that he doesn’t want to lose his tail and she has decided to respect his decision. Meanwhile, Elka tries convincing Santa not to quit. Meanwhile, Brian seems to show more interest in Melanie now. Brian then comes out straight and tells Melanie that he is in love with her breasts. Jimmy comes in and tells Brian to back off, in his funny voice. Brian on hearing Jimmy’s voice can’t help laughing.

Jimmy then proceeds to punch Brian but Victoria’s date comes in and stops the guys from coming to blows. He tells Brian to be faithful to be Joy, and Jimmy to be proud of who he is despite his funny voice. Meanwhile, Elka finds Santa missing and asks the waitress where he is, she tells him that Eric must have gone back to the homeless shelter. She adds that Eric is crazy and has in fact told one of the waitresses there that, he is Santa. Brian and Joy meanwhile part ways on a sad note, and so do Jimmy and Melanie. Victoria in the meanwhile takes offense when her date tells her to split the check.

She is ready to come to terms with the fact that he has a tail, but not with the fact that he is cheap. Later the girls come to an agreement that, the whole exercise of them finding each other a date is a bad idea. Just then they see a handsome fireman walk into the bar, who offers to buy them a drink. Victoria checks for a tail before she accepts his offer. The episode ends at this point.
