Unfortunately, Hotel Babylon is having problems with both. Tony is having a crisis of confidence after mistaking a guest for a hooker, and Charlie has to stop frustrated musician Mr. Machin from killing himself.

Money is stolen from a wealthy guest's room, and evidence suggests a member of staff is responsible. Rebecca attempts to find the culprit by calling in an auditor, and putting her employees under the spotlight. Meanwhile, Les Dennis checks in and helps himself to a few more of the hotel's complimentary items than expected.

The hotel faces closure. Tony tries to convince an Asian businessman to buy the hotel but not everything goes to plan. A crowd end up in the hotel following a bomb alert in London. A millionaire caught up in the chaos is impressed by the staff's actions and decides to buy the hotel.

A couple who are both celebrities hold their joint 40th birthday party at the hotel. Anna finds out that they are not as happy as they seem together. Sam ignores Juliet's advise and better judgment when he lets lets two rival boxers stay at the hotel.

The staff take part in a treasure hunt around the hotel searching for valuable emeralds claimed to be hidden there. Gino finds himself being conned by a man staying at the hotel. Tony discovers that a former film star staying at the hotel isn't quite as she seems.

Emily's estranged father shows up at the hotel and she wants nothing to do with him. Before leaving he insists that there is something that he must tell her. Sam gambles the hotel and comes out the loser. Tony meets somebody who looks just like him.

The staff are sent on a team-building course by Sam to improve their performance. Sam's plan doesn't go as he hoped when Juliet is forced to resign. A guest at the hotel makes eyes at Gino. Valuables go missing from the hotel after Juliet and Ben attempt to help a homeless man.

The hotel has managed to secure an exclusive magazine deal to host a Royal wedding with an Italian magazine called Certo!. Juliet is surprised when Sam plans to press ahead after the wedding is canceled using the hotel's staff as the wedding party. When Juliet finds out that Sam needs the money from the deal to pay a tax bill she decides to help him. Gennaro Fazio, the magazines editor exposes what they are to though.

James and Gino are are asked to organise the extravagant funeral of a VIP guest . If the event is a success Juliet tells James that he will gain a promotion at the hotel. An old boyfriend of Juliet's checks into the hotel and wants to give their relationship another go. Sam becomes jealous and ends up having a one night stand with one of the hotel's guests.

One of the country's most exclusive dating agencies holds a romantic event at the hotel. Julia runs into her old friend Karen. Sam invites Juliet to join him on a trip to Hawaii.
