Episode Quotes
Dr. House: He's a self-important jerk.
Dr. Wilson: He's my friend.
Dr. House: He's a self-important jerk.
Dr. Wilson: Seems to be what I'm attracted to.
Dr. House: Guy calls you Jim. Doesn't even know your name.
Dr. Wilson: Jim is short for James. Now go away, Lim.
Tucker: I read somewhere that the Native Americans say turkeys know what you're thinking.
Dr. Wilson: So I should stop thinking about German porn.
Tucker: No, no. That'll lure them closer.
Dr. Wilson: I just had a House moment. Diagnosed transverse myelitis from a cold sore. How cool is that? Patients really eat that crap up.
Dr. House: That's why I'm loved.
Dr. House: A few patients die, you might get sad again. Make a speech that would end your career. Frankly, I'm stalking you for you.
Dr. Wilson: Where's House?
Dr. Taub: Performing his ritual 'Hiding from Cuddy to avoid getting a new case" dance. It's sort of a jazz-fusion sort of thing.
Dr. House: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were in the middle of something.
Dr. Wilson: It's a conference room with glass walls. You thought I'd be alone?
Dr. House: We just removed a screw from a guy's lung. Weird thing is, he didn't get better. Any idea what that means?
Dr. Wilson: It means you're not listening to me.
Dr. House: No, I'm ignoring you to make a point. There's a difference.
Dr. Wilson: The problem with that technique is I have no idea what point you're making.
Dr. House: That your idea is implicitly not worth listening to. Doubling your patient's chemo is stupid. Damn, now it's explicit.
Dr. Wilson: Why did you make me the head of Oncology?
Dr. Cuddy: Not because you have the most organs...
Dr. Wilson: The operation is in two hours, and I'd like you to be there with me.
Dr. House: No.
Dr. Wilson: What... why?
Dr. House: Because if you die, I'm alone.
Dr. House: You don't feel angry?
Dr. Wilson: Eh... I'm a little... disappointed.
Dr. House: Disappointment is anger for wimps. You don't have to be so gentle about everything. It's okay to get angry once in a while.
Dr. Wilson: You can't change a table.
Dr. House: Actually, you can. Just need a coat of paint and the guts to use it.

Dr. Wilson: I'm not here for an argument, House.
Dr. House: No. Right. That's room 12A.
House is referencing the Argument Skit, a classic routine from
Monty Python's Flying Circus (3x03 --
The Money Programme). Michael Palin plays the customer, who comes into the clinic looking for an argument. Eventually he realizes that he's in the Abuse Room and is redirected to 12A, the Argument Room.
