Will Westwood goes into a jewelry store to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend Melissa. The owners, Sam and Stacy, are glad to help him. Will, who is blind, makes his way out onto the street and starts to cross the street. However, the noises suddenly echo in his head as he hallucinates the sounds, and he staggers out into the street.
