Dr. House: Then what’s that smirk?
Kutner: No smirk. This is how I look.

Dr. House: If the wonder’s gone when the truth is known, there never was any wonder.

Episode References

House: I finally have a case of lupus..

House is referring to earlier episodes, particularly in seasons 1 and 2, when doing the differential diagnosis with Chase, Cameron and Foreman. Cameron is somewhat renowned for suggesting that the patient have lupus, in almost every episode. In season 3, we learn that House has carved a hole in a lupus textbook where he keeps an extra bottle of Vicodin. His reason? It's never lupus.
