An In Memoriam for Barbara Issak appeared at the end of the show. She was a supervising sound editor on the program who died in July 2007.

House: I finally have a case of lupus..

House is referring to earlier episodes, particularly in seasons 1 and 2, when doing the differential diagnosis with Chase, Cameron and Foreman. Cameron is somewhat renowned for suggesting that the patient have lupus, in almost every episode. In season 3, we learn that House has carved a hole in a lupus textbook where he keeps an extra bottle of Vicodin. His reason? It's never lupus.
